? Its a specialized wall effectively, that has no collision with the glass model. I don't think it even can notice the pressurization system since it has no special code.

So I don't know, it can't self-delete itself.

why after filling it to 100% with oxygen it SUDDENLY disappears and can no longer be filled?

That is the Space Engineers Administration Tools, available in Single Player and Multiplayer, tied to the numerous Spawn Menus such as F11, F10, and their various Alt, Ctrl, and Shift modes.

Accidentally mis-placed a 1x1 frameless, is there a way to delete it?

So i added a 156x102 force field, my safe file went from 2.8 mb to 13.7 mb. i guess something around 14k+ added 1x1 may do that. Any chance you would add a 5x5 and/or 10x10 filler? Also i maybe dumb, but i dont quite get the corners, there seem always 2 not fitting. Am i overlooking 1x1 side pieces and corners or was this ment to be just up and down or left and right?

No need to appologize mate. I did look on the entity list but couldn'Ät find it there. I went back to an earlier safe till i hear from you. Well if ship grinder or weapons do the trick i know how to approach my hangar projects. Thx for the quick response, have a good one.

Yeah I never managed to solve the hand welder & hand grinder problem with those.
Ship \ Grid Based ones are AOE, while the hand tools need collision-mesh & a origin point raycast to hit, which makes it basically invisible to hand tools.

It pops up on the Space Master entity list, and is vulnerable to ship tools and firearms.

Just testing these out in survival with creativ activ for the first time and ran into a snag. Placing on top of the larger pieces is a bit finiky, but with a bit of fiddling around that works as advertised. In the process i did place one in mid air though which i now can't seem to remove anymore as nothing snaps to it and i can't target it with rmb to remove and as it has no hit boxes it also can not be grinded.

Yeah that's script based, which tends to be pretty dynamic.
I tend to try scriptless as much as possible, as makes it last longer & intact (Long story on that one, I've had a long glorious history with scripts exploding)

On the plus side, Its also why this mod has an identical build on Console since its got no scripts. ;>

thx for the info. I didn't get that part from the description about infinit scalability with a 1*1*1 piece. That actually drives now your mod at the top of my list :)
There is one mod i have seen that made these color options

I'm a bit burned out on SE itself, but that doesn't mean someone else can't just expand this -- If they want, they can even cross-reference my TransparentMaterial SBC from any mod, you just need the Material names (which are the Subtype IDs) , which works across mods without even the dependency system.

It has the 1x1x1 frameless which allows the extension of any field to your Grids max block limit and creation of any shape.
It was my solution to the inflexibility of the frames, so I paired it with the 2x Frames so you could manually make the 3x, 5x or 7x, or make those into pretty much any shape or size but with a quick head start on such a construct.

As for the coloration and opacity: Kinda limited by the TransparentMaterials system, I'd need a script (if lucky) to modify those in session(s), as otherwise I'd need to clone each (which I did for the red and green partially at least), and hope I got enough colours (and the same for each opacity, which would start scaling really hard)

For the angles: I'll admit, that is something I sadly didn't think about, was really uncommon among the ships I was creating, but is a very handy tool for expanded and creative designs.

out of curiosity as so many questions come from ^^
Do you have any intentions to increase their max size? I have seen people asking for larger sizes in other force field mods and i wouldn't mind either :)
Are they or could you make them colorable and the opacity changable and maybe angled versions?

I don't actually know what you just asked; Here are my assumptions:

1 ) Using the blocks in-game for Doors ; That's in-game use, I can't fault anyone for creativity, and I would be quite happy to see clever use

2 ) Due to how SE modding works, you could re-use the material the Fields use, easier than regular textures, in that case, I would just ask at best for "Link back to the original mod", and call it a day.

3 ) If you just add a link back to this mod, you basically can do whatever, my fancy words up there were on orders by Moderators, my actual requirement is just "Stick a link back to original, and have at it"

So they usually still are damagable, which i guess was really the question, especially for multiplayer. What is their integrity?

Projectiles are a bit complicated.
If there is something close enough behind the Forcefield, your Projectile will pass through the field to hit it instead.
If there isn't, the projectile might hit the forcefield.

And that's vanilla.
WC, I don't think cares and will likely always just hit the Forcefield.

I love that one can pass through these force fields. Question though, are projectiles also passing through or is the forcefield selective in what it lets through like player, ships, but not weapon fire any type?

ok, i had to unsubscribe and resubscribe and set the fields again in creative mode... now its all good, but that was weird, i swear there was no attachment nor a grid... for your info... but i want to still thank u for the mod, its so useful, love it. I just could use some 8 or 9 fields, want to do a hangar like death star or imperial destroyers which lower a langing zone to pull back up... through a hangar field of course... but hangart its a litte bit to tight with only 14 blocks... ;)

If it's attached to the grid, Just use a block-welder, they're AOE types.

ok thx for advice, its ALT F10, unfortunately i dont find the grid... i searched for all grids in entities-list (grid list) (german: Entitäten-Liste), i find all my grids, grids of space pirates like debris and stations, the ships and station of my mate (he placed the hangar field), some abandoned building sites of old players who dont exist any more (deleted them) but it seems the unfinished hangar field does not exist, but i see it in front of me... i cannot focus on it, so i even dont know what grid it is... but there is also no grid with only 1 block... i dont get it... thats a little bit frustrating... what else can i do? the field is set very "stupid", so u see it all the time

Space Master is admin-tool in-game, via I believe F10.

yo, i did place such a field and i am searching for space master, i guess its a mod? can anyone help with the mod id, dont find it. i want to get ripped of this field, but with the normal tools no chance to deconstruct it

I have only used it on land so far on my hangar ship but I think space is the way to go for looks. Good thing to know with the hp I am just running so many NPC mods I didnt want them to just shoot through it after i had replaced every hangar door. Thanks

Show up as panels? We don't have the ability to make a recolorable glass; The Emissive glows, use the recoloration system, as they aren't lights so no terminal.

HP is based on Block Components.
Rarely does anyone list that.

Depending on how many things use glass inside your Hangar, your Mods, Your skybox, determines if looking into a hangar is different than looking into space.
As this is how Glass works.

My Hangar floor, when I made the screen shots, is literally another Glass Block, as is the massive cockpit on the TIEs used there.
Put the two together, and you can guess why I didn't put a screen shot of the worst possible case.

Why doesnt this show up in the panels in game can I not customize it? Where can I find ANY stats like HP? Its just a bunch of gross colored squares and only looks good in space lol the screenshots hide what it looks like looking into a hangar from the outside

They're incredibly hard to target, when placed isolated, yes.
Space Master is a lot faster to get them

These don't open or close.
Their passage for firepower is a bit strange, due to being glass with no collision

Hello Kreeg.

From what I can tell, there's been some requests to have more variety in the sizes covered. Unfortunately, I must add my name to the group as this seems to be the only only working mod regarding force field hanger doors. As such, do you currently have any plans on increasing the size covered by an individual hanger block? For example, the station entrance I have is 25 large blocks tall as it's meant to house rather large ships.

Ideally I would like to go with your mod , however I would need a hanger door that covers at least 12 blocks and unless I am mistaken, I don't believe that size is available yet.
