" The Definitive D:OS2 'Mod Load-Order' List "
Feel free to point others to the guide :)
(Could also reduce some support tickets!)
@Frugi Lentesco : as I mentioned earlier on the comment section, this is an extremely simple mod that alters a single stat entry (one line in a text file) from which the game pulls the reference for how many points in memory it takes to get an extra memory slot. Therefore, I hardly believe it is caused by this mod, although I wouldn't say it is an impossible thing due to how the game is coded. If it happens due to this mod, I foresee no workaround, unfortunately.
Could it be that the bonus memory is somehow only applied when the character is alive? And as such a dead character loses its memory slots and the game will automatically unequip the excess skills?
I have a number of mods installed, but this one strikes me as the most likely culprit.
Regardless, thanks for making this mod, it alleviates the skill limit nicely :)
@Blin Machine : Perhaps another mod in your mod list is conflicting with mine and changing the same entry. Try making this one the last on the load list and see if it works.

Congrats & Thanks for your awesome mods!
From
key "CharacterAttributePointsPerMemoryCapacity","1"
To
key "CharacterAttributePointsPerMemoryCapacity","0.5"
On the same logic, if you alter the value to "0.33" it should give 3 slots per point and so on.
