You can activate it if you want.
There is no danger factor in the game, you can literally finish the whole game on Tactician without using a single Source Spell (unless you have to use to progress) besides Bless.
The story keeps telling how Sorcerers are powerful and can destroy everything with source spells and the gameplay you pretty much use one spell and turns into normal person because you have no source anymore unless you refill it stealing from someone else or the fountains. Resting or even have a cooldown to regen charges of the source is the way it should be to begin with.
I made a compilation mod that include your feature.
I added your script file into my mod, and asking permission to keep it that way.
Is that ok with you ?
When you're a sorcerer(Or a Godwoken), source is part of your energy, your vigor.. bit like in a certain book series that Trudi Cannavan wrote.
Since it's your energy, using it should make you tired(using most of it at least should do so, but our characters with their.. potential unlocked fully are able to use only 3 source 'portions', so we can say that it's just the limit they are putting on themselves with using the source-powers, since if used any more of it, they wouldn't be able to continue fighting properly), and if you rest/sleep, it should regenerate in you, you should rest, regenerate, and be able to use it again... and not just stay 'drained' of it forever! You're a freaking sorcerer/Godwoken, you should be able to keep on using your powers, at least with enough apropriate amount of rest!
So I hope you will not be biased against us.
And finally……I found 原来你不是老外啊
LOL
Larian's tool does the uploading automatically from the mod itself. It's not possible to mix them up that I know of.
This is odd because I have never downloaded the no source mod. Perhaps somewhere along the line you mixed up the files and uploaded the incorrect files to wrong mod page.
I was told there was something already like this available on Nexus. See if this one works:

Nope. It's a script that watches for when 'rest' is used and then separately restores all the players source points.
