If you want the Scout helmet, try searching for 'mp_scout', or just look for the 'Halo 3 - MP Spartan Ragdolls' folder listed under the 'addons' category to see all of the ragdolls
thank you man
color...
Sometimes i do try going back to them and trying again, but i don't make any progress :/
Can you at least figure out how to do the same for the Spartans too? Oh, and I was actually talking about the OTHER Halo 3 Spartan playermodel you mentioned below. Your Master Chief works just fine.
As for the Master Chief model T posing, the ragdoll for that shouldn't be rigid, the ragdoll for me is completely functional, check that you don't have any addons that would affect ragdolls and/or their physics
So you say you can't make these ragdolls into playermodels due to having different proportions than HL2 ragdolls, yet you successfully turned the Halo 3 Master Chief model, which I'm pretty sure posseses the exact same proportions as the MP Spartans, into a working playermodel that ragdolls properly upon death just fine.
Not to sound snarky, but I don't see any other reason why making these into playermodels is not possible. And I did subscribe to the other Halo 3 Spartan playermodel just recently, but for some reason it T-poses on death (turns out the model is nothing more than a rigid prop in the in-game addon file, at least for me). Your models look so much better than the latter, and we'd be really grateful if they were made into playermodels somehow. Other than that, pretty good job making this.
but you're sexy as hell for this

Yeah, the current only Halo 3 PM's are really shoddy recreations of the actual armors in the game, and have extremely odd proportions IMO. Would probabably take the work of a skilled modeler to sit down and faithfully recreate the look of the armor over the HL2 skeleton. I'll still look into seeing if I can manage anything whatsoever with just adjusting the skeletons, worth a shot I guess.
Maybe, but it might be some time from now as it'll take some re-adjusting for how coloring models in SFM works
@Scrumbus
For Garry's Mod, and even the Source Filmmaker, having all of the Spartan models put into one fully customizable model is impossible due to engine limitations, which is why i had to split them up between their helmet variations
And as for player models in general, it's also impossible, at least for me, because of how the Halo 3 characters have different proportions compared to the Half Life 2 characters, it's just never worked out for me
And the player model wouldn't have the secondary and armor detail coloring like the ragdolls do also due to limitations, so it would just have the primary coloring, basically what you see in team-based game modes in Halo 3
