@Ruby Rose Never heard anyone try that. Since the mod page doesn't explicitly say anything regarding that mod, I assume it wouldn't but give it a try and share it here. I am curious too.

@Dragorm It wasnt setting the default to 6 for me even with Norbytes installed and working. However Leader Lib did allow me to fix the problem so thank you.

Does this work with GM mode out of curiosity? Looking to bump the size up to 5-6

I can assume you have enabled the mod itself under mods in game and have also installed Norbyte's Script extender, correct?
I am asking this because the Party Size Evolved mod automatically increases the party size to "6" from the get go. So you must be missing something initially.

You should also download "Leader Lib" mod that grants you the "Open Mod Menu" skill when pressed K, drag them into your hot bar so you can use them. AFAIK, the only way to decease or increase the party limit would be through that mod. Two more skills will be shown in that screen: "Chain All" and "Unchain All". And just to let you know, these 3 skills do not take up in your Memory Attribute, they are innate skills.

Sorry if this has been Answered previously, but does this work for DE. If so how. I'm trying to get a solo game going with all six base character's, and it just doesn't seem to want to increase the normal size past 4.

The mod worked well until Act 3,where i failed to recruit more than 4 characters back to team,Sebille and Red Prince refused my invitation,and i noted that the PSE book was missing.

@Major GasMask, try to reload save on the ship, this worked for us with same problem (don't leave game)

we started a 5 man party but the 5th person is stuck in a dimmed screen at the start after the cutscene at the ship and can't move but they can see us move and move the camera, anyway to fix that?

so, in my party we are, Fane, Ifan, and 3 other custom characters...does this will cause some bugs on my campaing? and i have another question...when we fight in the arena of fort joy...when we have to fight to each other, the game only choose 4 of us...so i was thinking

cant change keybinds on controller mode, so cant swap to 5th n up party member. theres a party radial menu on controller and its set to 4 party members + summons etc.

Try to see if you can find bindings for your controllers like in keyboard+mouse.

i tried this mod and it works, i can hire or get another party member but the sad part here is i can select the 5th/6th/7th etc party member with a controller like switch controller or a DS4 controller. please help!

@xCzeron Have you tried ending the fight by moving away from each other then trying to invite/adding them to your party?

I never had the chance to use it in multiplayer, but this is a possible solution which you can use with NPCs, and in normal 4-man party lobbies, so it should also work with this mod.

Anyone had an issue with one of the player's characters becoming hostile to the others, locking you into combat until you kill that character?

I have the script extender and the LederLib working. The .pak file is in my documents\LarianStudios\Dev....2 Def..Edition\Mods and in my steam workshop folder

EDIT: I used LaughingLeader's Divinity Mod Manager and now it works :)

I didn't finish the game with this mod but, I remember playing all the way to Act 3. It was fine to that point.
Though some quests asks you to make a choice so, obviously the game doesn't let that happen.
(For example at Act 3 for some of your companions.)

But if you are asking this for achievements, then you have already understood them incorrectly. Those achievements have to be earned by being that character yourself or have some local player playing as them.

Does anyone know if this mod allows you to play every companion quest?

@b. I don't think you should do 6-man run if you want it be balanced but, you could try looking at some mods that makes the game more difficult.
AI wise, XP wise etc.

Anyone have any recommendations on how to balance 6 people on Classic and/or Tactician mode for a close to Vanilla play through?

I installed the mod, but am missing the book to enable it. Anyone knows why this is/how to fix it? Playing on DE and restarted with new game after installing the mod.

"C:\Users\<your account>\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods"
Because that's actually where the mods go and where the game check to see if you have any mods downloaded, NOT steam workshop.
If you can't find the directory, search on google, and you'll be able to easily find the exact location.

Is there a way to show all 5 players in the lobby?

its bugged , i did instal this mod many times ago , time have passed and i did reebot my pc and have did not take not take this mod but others , and now i have 4 npc in my team without having this mod in my list and im blocked , i dont know if anyone have the same problem as me but its really annoying when i just wanna play alone with mods and have 4 randoms npc in my team when i dont have this mod instaled . please help me

If you are still active, can you mod the GUI to support the 10 characters by adding columns to the GUI?

This bug may occur: a party member may get kicked out their group if you recruit more than 4 characters, if this happens then drag the portrait to reassign the character to the main group to fix this

The mod doesn't show up in my modlist in game, anyone know a fix?

@Drkskidmrk4u There should be a book provided to you by this mod. If you enabled it mid way I am not sure where you find it but I am sure it is written somewhere in the description of this mod.

Too many party members can cause avatars to outgrow the screen. While I do have the ability to switch members using shortcuts, I'm still wondering if I can modify the avatar size so that more avatars can fit within the screen.

ever since downloading this mod it's now stuck to spawning for npc characters in my party that i can not remove. not sure how to get find of them even after selecting in game

I can't get my fifth friend into the game, is this the reason for the mod?

having an issue where when me and my buddies wanted to lwave the joy island we couldn't.
Elf, who we need to speak is saying that she didn't spoke to everyone so we won't leave, but everyone in my party spoke to her and showed that we coould do the source magic.
I think that problem ocured because of we made 10 player lobby while playing only 5 and because of 4 of them are custom characters.
Don't want to restart it all, because we spent 12 hours on that playthrough

Cant run this one and i really want to :-) Is it only multiplayer? Cant find mod in mod menu in game, in game menu, mod menu and also i have no books to set it up.

For all those who use a controller and have trouble with the chain/unchain feature, walk up to the character you wish to chain to the party and hit the action button (x button for Xbox controller or square button for PlayStation controller) then click on "chain" within the list of actions. If you wish to unchain the character just simply repeat the process and it'll say "unchain."

There is no book and no mod settings menu. Have script extender and mod is active
