Supposedly it is only affecting some people, which is why it may appear inconsistent with modders.

it happens for both this mod and the other summoning tweaks which allows me to have 3 summons
Though since summoner is hella strong this might make it a tad too heavy even if it is realistic.
If he has regular HP after then, then it may be that another mod is overriding skill and the "Template" property to point the incarnate to a new template with a different character stat, to make it fall in line with the vitality adjustments the mod makes.
All speculation though.
