The glove does come with the Firedamp Duffle.
We originally planned to not have a glove melee, but when we made the high poly we decided to make a weapon version as it seemed like a waste not to (everything was done just needed new rigging), that and we could see people asking for it.
The difference is that the weapon version is a lot higher poly and higher res, but is just the single glove like the hot hand.

This is quite honestly one of the finest sets I've seen put together in a while. I think everything compliments eachother so well (not to mention how perfect the pun "My Fiery Valentine" is). Each individual cosmetic is great as well. The only thing I think you should consider is combining Backfill Backslap and the Firedump Duffle, so that they are one cosmetic. It isn't totally necessary though. I also believe the mask itself isn't neccesary, b/c there is already a gas mask pretty much identical to this in the game already. Besides that, I love it!

we't have 2 melees in a set because you can't equip them both at once.

don't see why we can't have two melee weapons. It's like a set having a bottle and a sword for demoman.
plus I could see people wanting the cosmetic's gloves as a weapon, so we went with it.
