Oh I get it now. Well it's alright, Don't stress, I can only imagine how much shit you're getting from people, because some mods are broken, but as long as you're cool with it being lost then it's good.

I still have the tools, the files i'm referring to are the mod assets. All my pre-Malorian stuff is inaccessible to me so I can't update them. I've tried extracting the .rfc files from the workshop and working from there but the results were very undesirable.

He probably lost the modding tools, or the Workshop staging folder, and without those you can't update a mod

Why don't you just find the file in your mods folder and then open the rfc pack in unity
