Mechanoid raids can become Dire Raids. Poison ships and Psychic ships cannot.

@pyrce ferals are the worst! Those spore launching creeps and the rocket launchers are rough to deal with it I can get mortars out fast enough!

@james76543 I'll raise you a less successful defence effort from Monday :P Lost 20+ turrets (super rimlaser included) 4 crew, most of my external walls, 3 bunkers, and a bunch of hyperweave clothing. Forgot about how big Dire Raids get after squashing the first one of the run with no problems. :D

To the guy with the poison ship, I've also had that happen and did not have this mod, so I think thats a bug related to something else.

@AlphaFlea No. The Poison Ship is a separate event type from Raids. Dire Raids are labeled as "Dire Raid" on the lower-right of the screen if you're not sure for a particular event.

Does this mode effect Poison Ship? I had one fall right next to my base and out jumped 300 mechs. I got crushed.

I know the feeling. Least back then nothing ever threatened my base but now I get raids of 200+ enemies early game most the time

Well if you add other mods that change the raid experience to be more to your liking this will be compatible with those and cause higher threat events. Mostly I made this mod in B18 because nothing ever threatened my bases after a couple years.

Concepts great for normal people but for the like 5 people who get the same stuff I do in raids this just aggitaites an already painfully bad raid case
