Reminds me of the anti-tank dogs in WWII. One of the stupidest ideas in military history because when you strap a bomb to a dog and it gets terrified by the loud enemy guns, it runs back to its owner

oh, good... now I have a reason to tame all of the timber wolves on my world... and keep them healthy that is. (I've lost a lot... of precious pets, to hunting animals.)

@Marvin No, they automatically gain the bag when joining a caravan, similar to all vanilla pack animals.

Any news on 1.1?

Love the idea of this mod. It's a shame that I cannot use it dude to FPS issue. Traders brought like 30 foxes/dogs/cats to carry their goods is way too much for FPS. I don't know why the game won't enable mixture of packing animals for NPC traders.

Nope, you can safely add this to existing saves, no need to do anything else.

Removing it should also be fine IF you do not currently have any canines/felines participating in caravans or carrying items in their inventory.
