Thank you for the response! The picture you provided along with the additional details makes it easier to understand how far the lamp can grow crops.
@Tomash, if your colonists can research and create high tech weaponry and spacecraft, can they not figure out how to develop a power-efficient light?
Ah right okay, yeah that's what I've been using them for too, they're amazing for general lighting as well as for plants. Thanks for the quick response! Rated and faved
If you’d like to have the lights only turn on at certain times, I recommend “PowerSwitch” by Haplo_X1 as it allows electricity to be switched on & off on a user defined schedule. I use it and it works very well: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=717632155
Also, if you’re interested in security lights, you might like "MiningCo. SpotlightTurret" by Rikiki. It's designed to autotrack and blind attackers: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=955561873
Good luck!
And for a suggestion, I would like to have an outdoor sun lamp that has the same radius as the sun lamp (or slightly larger would be better). I'd like one that only turns on at night if you can figure that part out.
My reason for wanting it is I want to put some lights out in my farms that will have 2 functions. One is to keep the plants growing even during an eclipse. And the other is securiity focused. Being able to see the enemy makes colonist accuracy better so night battles can be annoying. I also play with the Darkness mod that makes niight completely dark and lights are necessary for the player as much as for the pawns.
