I know im dreaming here but would a compat be possible for the rocket techis of this:

My guess is that it's some compatibility thing with Blastcore, their MLRS effect overlapping yours perhaps

MLRS rockets don't have long lasting trails with Blastcore, unlike with PhotonVFX where they do

ah ok! that makes sense because i have like 5 or 6 fx mods running at the same time xD together the mods can change the forecast and make it rain when there is a lot of smoke, basically acts as "fog of war" but the smoke from destroyed vehicles often disappear/reset when the battle goes on for too long. im glad it isnt a conflicting mod because im a sucker for FX mods :P im sure i wouldnt even be able to play the game if they were conflicting because i have about 70-90 mods running.

Usually that means your scenario at that moment has exceeded the games particle limit.You either need to go to full quality particles in the Gfx options or reduce the amount of missiles fired and/or reduce other pfx going on at same time.Best of luck.:steamthumbsup:

for some reason my smoke trail ends early sometimes, do you think its because of blastcore or is it just the missile types that have different smoke effects?

Hi, is there any way to make this mod fully compatible with the
Blastcore Murr Edition mod, because this mod replaces the smoke trail in almost every weapon, the working one remains only with the IFV-6a Cheetah/Tigris and MIM-145 Defender/S-750 Rhea

i cant make this mod work for me,
its the only mod in my list and i cranked up all graphic setting to the max.
dont know where i messed up.

Do you know if it works with "Fixed Splendid Lighting Modification" ?
Both have Lighting changes but yours is only missile lightning so i'm not sure

I think RHS have there own smoke efx.It would have to be a seperte mod.Maybe in the future.

awesome mod, one of those "why didnt i knew about this sooner" mods haha.

Btw is there any chance you can make rhs manpads (iglas/9k38/stingers/FIM) smoke more prominent/thicker? on the ground it looks perfect but when im in the air i can barely see the smoke trail.

I thought it did have that enhanced.I might have done it in my own effects mod thats unreleased.I thought other Efx mods might have done it also.I 'll have to look into it.

Explosion smoke efx are for another mod.This mod jsut does missile trail anf fire efx.Its designed to be modular.The missile efx are the same due to Arma using the same efx for most weapons/ammo.I can make unique efx for wach weapon but it would write into missions.I prefer to make my efx mods not become a dependency in missions.But i can work on making the missile efx a lil more unique. It would take alot of work for little difference ingame.
If i get some time to work oon this mod in the future thats what i will look into.

You can make more realistic missile and bomb explosion smokes, for example, the rocket smoke of vehicles like HIMARS will have darker and denser smoke, but in this mode, the smoke of all rockets is almost the same.

@GAUSS, the smoke will disapear if there is many firing at once.Or if there is alot of other smoke efx happening at once.

When i get some time i intend on working on the mod some more.

My friend, when the mk vls missiles go, the smoke goes with the missile, to understand what I mean, enter the game and use the mk vls cruise missile, I ask you, the smoke does not go with the missile, let it stay for at least 1, 2 minutes, this will be more realistic.
