Try now, I made it a little too dark on the update. It is supposed to be somewhat darker, I need to update the screenshots.

Hi, I'm playing on the newest version without any other mods, but the map looks way too dark in the day. It sort of improves when you get up close, but otherwise it's just much darker than it was before. I went off HOI for a while after 1.6 came out, and all my graphics mods had just been a pain ever since. Help? thx

The new game update just released and I'd imagine that kind of work that it takes to get this up to date with the current version with all of the new changes will take a whole heap of time to fix so just relax on the update requests a bit and give him some time.

@FAERLEITA Did all members have the mod installed? Being purely visual it shouldnt do this.

User Update : Causing crashes in MP

@Flavius Thats a lot harder than it sounds, no one I know in the modding community has figured out how to make the shaded, dynamic borders darker without effecting the colour scheme of the country. In this update, the colours far away are the same, just they last longer when zooming in (whereas previously they faded much quicker, revealing more of the landscape).

Maybe you will make more precise borders with the colors of countries, without making the color political map more vivid

@flavius @Izzy Yeah saw this problem too, especially with countries like the uk-poland or spains civil war. Ive fixed thsi somewhat so at a medium-low view it should be easier to distinguish.

Beautiful, but the boundaries are too blurry, when approaching it is difficult to manage the divisions on the front line

Looks cool for screenshots, although makes the game unplayable. Just look at the spanish civil war, with this mode on its impossible to differ which territory belongs to the nationalists and which one to the communists. RIP my 5 soviet volounteer tank divisions.
