I have thought about updating, but postponed it multiple times because of official updates and the state of the game after these patches. I got all the recent DLCs in the latest sale though and am thinking about releasing a new version, maybe as a separate upload, as I will most likely have to write things from scratch at least partially.

I will try to update as soon as possible,but I will have to look into which features have been made redundant by 1.30 and remove or rework those first.

I also want to take the opportunity and comment on the EUIV patch focusing on Europe. I will try to get as far as possible with this mod until then and hope that it will not simply be rendered obsolete by the base game or a DLC.
I am otherwise excited to see Paradox rework the HRE and religion in Europe! Hopefully there will still be a place for this mod post-1.29.

Long time no see...
First of all I want to apologize for the long silence. Some stuff happened and I did not have time to work on the mod for some time, but I am slowly getting back into modding.

Right now I can not specify a date for the next update. Especially after what happened after last time. :)

But I at least wanted to let you know the mod is not dead.

Could also just make this a requirement, but the thing with the cultures being a requirement (my mod relies on ETE for cultures, which adds a bunch of German cultures) for forming the Kreise makes it more difficult to work with.

@bushwarrior Usually the mod should work in multiplayer, but I did not test it with Albert Mod. I will look into it when I have the time.

Thank you for your feedback! I think this is exactly what happened. The current system is entirely based on culture. This should be fixed in the next version with only the initial Kreise being formed by culture, after that they should be more dynamic.

I formed it as Brandenburg. Since my primary culture shifted to Prussian, it seems to have put me in the Prussian AND Teutonic kries', but that confused the game I guess and the Teutons and I seemed to have been leading both kries'? Not entirely sure anymore, as this happened a couple weeks ago, but I THINK thats what was going on

I was without internet for some time and was therefore not able to upload. While I was offline I decided to work on new features and start overhauling the way different Kreise are handled and saved in the game, as the main features for [0.3] are completed or nearing completion. As I do not want to upload another "preview" update, I hope it is ok for you if the next update will be a bigger and complete update.
I am really sorry for being way behind schedule on updating and not keeping you posted. I will try to improve in that regard.

I added more details to the change notes. Apparently there is a 1000 character limit on comments, so I had to transfer it there.

I know that the content added to Burgundy is quite sparse and I will definitely expand on it in the future. I hope I did not let you down with this small update.
My primary goal with this update was to ensure compatibility and show the progress I made towards [0.3]. Sadly I have been and will be slowed down until October by studying for exams, but I will try to keep you updated on my further progress. Because of this there could be another "preview update" before the real update, alternatively I could just write down what I did so far and post that somewhere, a dev diary of some sort if you will.

Sorry for the long silence. The mod should retain compatibility for the new Dharma patch.
[0.3] will most likely drop in some form next week. I will try to upload a snapshot with ensured Dharma compatibility tomorrow.
Right now the interactions between Burgundy and the HRE are completed and just need some additional polishing, work on the Papal States will start now as I am fairly sure how I want to do it now.
Offtopic: I got a new book for light reading on Luther and the time of the Thirty Years War and I already got some new ideas from it. Stay tuned! ;)

It actually should be compatible with both as right now nothing in the mod depends on specific tags or provinces and is almost entirely dynamic in this regard. Even new tags being added should not influence its behaviour.

I noticed it, and i think it fine for a solution now. As long as i can expect them to be of my culture group or at least geographically near me, i can picture it well enough. It is primarilly the idea of RP as interacting in imperial politics that makes me happy.
That sounds great. I do not expect anything as such, i just always like to add suggestions if i can, this is after all your mod, but for what is already there i am immensingly enjoying myself

@MrSchmith Hi again :) I do not know if you saw it already, but I added a member count to the debate events. It is of course not the optimal solution, I see it more like a quick fix and will try to look into alternatives.
Back to your question: Implementing the Reichstag is definitely not out of reach. This mod is after all supposed to be a flavour mod about all things HRE. I chose Reichskreis as a name as because I knew it would be the first big feature and I needed something catchy. I can not promise you when I will (or rather can) start working on the Imperial Diet, but it could definitely be added in the future.

This is honestly so cool I really hope Paradox integrates it into their game. The HRE has been feeling a bit stale and left behind in all these updates and this gives it a whole new layer and a whole new game

I actually thought about making members work like something similar to tributaries, so the leader will be called to war by his members, while still allowing them to fight among each other. Of course they will not have to pay anything to their titular liege. This would enable everyone to see who is who and still allow most interactions.

Couldn't you do it via a diplomatic relation, that doesn't actually DO anything other than show who is the leader of the Kreis, or if you are on the leader, which countries are in the Kreis?

Right now it is not possible to see who is in which Kreis. Sadly mapmodes are not moddable, to my knowledge. What I could show are at least the number of nations in your Kreis. But I am currently looking for a better solution. Keep your eyes open!
