A very nice asset, basically unusable as a 4 lane road unfortunately.

I used it in my city and it looked really nice.

thats exactly what i use. the only thing i cant change is the height of the cables and thickness of the bridge deck which is my problem. i can make the roadway wider and the towers bigger but the cables cant be made to go higher

@ZanderTheMander - you might be able to do this with PO and Node Controller...

i can send you screenshots of what i mean aswell. i would literally only need the bridge deck trusses and cables to be 1:1 in height the width of the deck i can stretch with nod controller to fit the POed towers

is there any way possible to make this network 1:1? it doesnt even need an asphalt road. i legit just need the network segments to be 1:1 in size then i can PO the towers and size up. i am willing to pay to have this done if possible. i would use the bridge networks for the red metal frame'trusses of the bridge and drag a highway network over it in place of the roadway if that makes sense.

@pingucanada - the whole bridge is scaled down by 1/3 to make it easier to use in Cities Skylines, as well as to make it more to scale with the normal game - a "full span" is already extremely large for the game, so true 1:1 scale would be almost unusable in most cases.

I actually placed it where i first put the Bay Bridge and adjusted the landscape a little, because i needed the Bay Bridge on another location in this map and i want to use them only once per map.

Featured in my "Knight's Helm" series, alongside your Bay Bridge. Both magnificent structures span the Knight River. However, due to the theme of the city, they were renamed the "Paladin Bridge" and the "Golden Knight Bridge." :)

They look awesome. I was a little unrealistic with the approach ramps and I exaggerated the arc of the bridge, but it fits with the other exaggerations in the game.

I did notice some LOD issues with the trestle under the road deck, though.

@bsquiklehausen - Thank you! A bug explains a lot. I was short of dittching the entire project, now there is hope.

@Pirazel - unfortunately that's a game bug. You have to go into each network with Mod Tools and manually rename the prefabs that throw the error.

I try to publish a set of custome roads for a bridge on the workshop, but I get a Duplicate prefab nameerror for Basic Road Elevated0, Basic Road Bridge0, Basic Road Slope0 and Basic Raod Tunnel0. It works fine with local data. How do I fix this? There are only two or three people who have published a draggable bridge so far. If you can't help, no one will enjoy my bridge but me.

@shreddy - I'm aware that it's large, but the way that networks are packaged for the Workshop makes it hard to have it be too much smaller (especially since this is a pack of six networks!). Using Loading Screen Mod will help cut the actual size that hits your RAM down by a lot. All assets share 3 1024x textures.

I'm glad you like my assets, and I appreciate your offer. With that said, making these assets takes dozens of hours, from research to modeling, to texturing to importing to uploading, and while I am open to commissions, $50 is not going to be enough for me to take on a project like that.

[it crosses the river in between Maysville KY and Abeerdeen OH] and it is in a Gorgeous area/historic and a bit older than the Golden Gate as well [it was opened in 1931] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Kenton_Memorial_Bridge

I would imagine him doing the Manhattan or Williamsburg bridges would be tough since they need unique road networks and would need the Metro overhaul mod.

I'd love to see some New York bridges! Perhaps the Manhattan, Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Queensboro, and/or George Washington Bridges?

Keeping it a secret, that's okay. I guess it's much better as a surprise. (Hopes for a New York City bridge!)
