definitely a good weapon in terms of detail and scaling. Fits on like a glove, however the only 2 downsides with the mod is there's no blue particle effects when you fire the weapon, which isn't that big of an issue. It's only really an issue for those who like the authentic visuals. But the only issue for me comes in the firing sound. I always liked ME3's firing sound since it did sound more like a sci-fi weapon. Most of the time when i go to fire the weapon i half expect to hear the ME3 fire sound for a second but then i remembered it's ME1's firing sound so it does throw me off quite a bit. Either way i still love the mod

Please can some one help me find the cinfig.ini for these weapons so that i can make their stats actualy high enough to use these weapons?

What happened to the original weapon sound affects? To me it sounds like the generic assault rifle?

but 1 thing, why is these weapons weaker then the normal weapons when you upgrade from standard -> Magnetic?

Vanilla Magnetic Guns: 5-7 DMG
Moded Magnetic Gun: 4-6 DMG

They look cool, but makes me sad :(

Pushed out an update to the weapon today. It's now using the WotC PBR shader, and vanilla stats for range and construction fees

Why do the magnetic and beam avengers have that weird range table? Aim penalty at short range, and bonus at mid? And why does the ballistic avenger have a conventional range table?

I know you're kinda focused on the Mass Effect weapons and armor, but is there any chance I could get you to do the Moritas from Starship Troopers and the Starship Troopers armor?

@Jonnyafrica Hmm, I thought I disabled flashlights for all the models. I was worried about having issues with clipping, and hovering models. Send me a screenshot if you can please, if it looks good I'll reconsider my stance.

Thank you for this. Great mod. Just wondering if you would please add the flashlight affect to the M8 and the M97 sniper? Your other weapons have the flashlight, just not these that I have observed. Thanks ;)

@AleKrios I know modded weapons are weird with that. I'd imagine you need a seperate text entry to get those to work.

Some abilities do not report the name of your modded weapons correctly (example: Death from above -> killing a target with the Error! M92Viper does not have ability description name) is it just me or is there something wrong?

As an update, it's still not showing up during a saved campaign. Also experiencing random crashes in any attempt to play since I downloaded these, which doesn't make sense to me.

Gonna have to check again, L_P, but I tried to load mid-game and I didn't have an Avenger. The Predator and Katana worked fine though.

Pushed out an update for the gun today. Should resolve the issue with mag being available from day 1. Haven't looked into fixing the issue with it not appearing mid campaign however.

so far its working great for me but the ballistic version never showed up. Wasnt until I researched mag weapons that it showed... which I thought was intentional since it made sense from a lore standpoint

Do these upgrade when you buy the upgrades for vanilla guns? Or do they require their own purchase in the workshop?

Hm I think I'd only get one of these Mass Effect Weapons in here... if it had my favorite but... it would be a nightmare to balence, and I think in the 2nd and 3rd games, it was overpowered (but only because you could only get it at certain points/after certain conditions and even then it had alot of downsides, like one shot per clip which could be transfered over.).

corygarz87 you should try deleting your config folder in your document under X-2 -then- start the game and get to the main menu -then- close the game and restart. Do your game settings and sliders how you like them and it should work. The restarts are important to re-aquire the files and then recognize the new mods.

@Deviathan Whale I'll look into that, I assume there's a way to have it load in when loading a save. Not when starting a new game.

@AzureTerra Yeah, I saw that today when I took it and the Mattock into a new XCom 2 campaign. For not, act like it's not there. I'll work on ironing out the bug.

@Insufferable Smartypants Yep, bare minumum I'll do is a weapon for every class, including secondaries like swords and pistols.

@Corygarza87 I've heard that's it's been causing issues for a few people. However, I won't be able to track down the issue. I'm not having issues with it in game, or in the debug build

One thing that nobody's done before is Mass Effect pistols. You've mentioned that you might be uploading more MA weapons. Have you any interest in making a pistol?

Mag and convent. Newly promoted soldiers are getting a Mag Avenger when they get promoted from rookie.

I also added it to an ongoing compaign and can't get the conventional tier to show up. Haven't researched mag weapons yet.

@The Hip Hop Hobbit M8 is close, but altered slightly. Mattock changes up things a bit more.

@Shades To each their own I suppose. I don't really care for the alien weapons in Andromeda, those are ugly IMO.

@Salt Intensifies I'd like to get a large chunk ported over, but there's only so much you can do while keeping weapons original. Especially with a game like XCom.

I love the look of this rifle. It's iconic. If there were only 1 Mass Effect weapon that somebody was willing to import, I'd be glad if this was it.

Deffinately interested in this mod, but before I dowload it I want to doublecheck: Does this gun and the Mattock mod have the same stats as the base game's assault rifle, or does it have different stats?

Regardless of the weapon's looks it IS kind of one of the iconic weapon of the Mass Effect series. Its turned up on the box art for the games a couple of times and is instantly recognizable.

I mean, its a nice, goodlooking gun. Without the top part its clearly a pump shotgun. With the top bit its a shotgun with a robopenis permanently welded to its butt (stock). :steamsad:
