Besides teleporting characters who break boats on land, there's also ones who have innate flight or swimming ability, as they can enter water or land even while on boat, while getting wet in case of swimmers.
Also, do maxwell shadows row boats of their own or they just walk over water? Since Walter's pet can swim here, while mod characters that come with pets or allies that cannot swim will crash the game if they try to call it to themselves while on water.
But with all that said, its impressive how when I first played it, it had certain limits, but later game updates gave the push needed to be as it is now, so consider yourself successful in your future endavors. Even if said updates made many old mods broken.
is it a worldgen game engine limitation or a design decision? If it's a design decision I will just mod it to spawn lol
I tested it and it seems the Sinkholes don't spawn. go_next command doesn't teleport me to them. And if I debugspawn a Sinkhole I can teleport into a Cave with it.
@Careca: We're working on a fix!
Marble is almost absent (as far as i know), so we are left with cutstone wich looks bad even in base dst and moonglass that looks a bit out of place for decoration if you are trying to build a shipwrecked themed base.
Honestly, I am a bit surprised with how limited with statues materials we are in base dst, we do not even have moonrock and thulecite, wich would look incredible.
And yes, we are working on Hamlet.
@M0thim: Yep! Mobs like doydoys, bioluminescence, treasure bottles, and a lot more nonrenewable items are renewable in this mod, either through world regeneration or otherwise.
if it does then do sand piles, bioluminescense, jellyfishes and other non renewable resources and mobs also do? or are still renewable in some way?
Also no, the Merm King still requires a Thulecite Crown as that is still able to be found via Treasure Hunting.
@DreamCat: We heavily encourage everyone to play the original DLC and support Klei!
if that's the case for the original shipwreck then i hope it can be changed for this mod as it's a shame i can't use all these pests i fenced in an edge of my island against the spider queen, also once again it's weird they don't ignore crabbits but do with the much bigger monkeys
also does merm king accept shark tooth crown as a replacement for the thulecite one?
