Thank you for replying, I saw your reply to Weirding Way right after posting that... :/
The unit card's listed attributes cannot be changed from vanilla, but at least in custom battles you can see they have Expert CD instead of regular CD under the unit abilities list. Works in campaign just fine.
Just the Empire halberdiers, as with Warhammer II.

Nope. I have no way of changing the "Charge Defense Against Large" indicator in the tooltips, but if you look at the unit's abilities down below you'll find it shows Expert Charge Defense instead of just Charge Defense.

It changes exactly one thing (CDaL to CDaA), which is already present in Warhammer II.
Besides, Halberdiers are supposed to be the Imperial standard line infantry in the lore, so it only makes sense that that bristling wall of blades should do something against charging infantry.
