Thanks. I try the new version, it a little smoother but only a little. Not much of a different, still laggy.

To get the images resized ya would just need to shrink them in photoshop, but then they wouldnt line up with the animation layers in the wallpaper project, thats what i would need to remake. However i was to make a few tweaks to optimize the image size and shrink everything. Im not sure if this will actually make a difference because its not actually using smaller images but i uploaded a version that should display in 1080p and uses about half the texture memory.
If it doesnt make any difference lemme know and ill delete it.

Yeah, I think its because my laptop specs. My laptop have delicated nvidia graphics card but it only used when gaming, on desktop the system running on Intel HD graphics card. I noticed GPU usage is always at 100% percent when use 4k wallpaper so its must becase the intel hd graphics can't handle 4k rendering.
That aside. I thought making a 1080p version is simple as resize a image in photoshop. If you have to remake it from scratch then don't do it. Nvm i said anything. You better spend time making something else instead :)

im pretty sure making a 1080p version would only reduce the memory used to load the wallpaper, the laggy feeling usualy comes from whatever your wallpaper engine FPS is set to in your settings and that would depend on the specs of your laptop. Anything below 20 fps will look choppy, 30+ should remove the laggy feeling. If that doesnt help i can make a smaller version but its not as simple as creating a new version id have to pretty much remake the project since none of the animations would line up.

Can you make 1080p version?. 4k feel very laggy on my laptop. :(
