that's understandable. a few parts of this mod are dependent on the content pack but that's just because we had a different understanding of modding back then. I'd like to fix that and make this one standalone in the future, I definitely agree with you, if we can find the time we'll try and do that.

Protogen helmets seem to have max armor, but the regular fursuit heads have none

I see this message for all files in this mod. I copied coxhound_bonus.bikey from keys dir to server keys. Other mods dont have any problem. Please check if server key file is correct.

they're still configured in but they're hidden in the arsenal as they're depreciated/outdated and unsupported, it's possible for someone to make them unhidden but that's not in our interests for aforementioned reasons

Is it possible for the old fursuit model to show up in the arsenal along with the new model? If not, then is it possible to revert the new model back over to the old model within the arsenal?

unfortunately, we actually haven't been able to update this mod for the longest time because the source files aren't currently accessible, so anything newer will be in our Faction Mod
