Because you kill players, not their guns. Someone could mod player models to be easier to see or hit. It's like an anti-cheat thing.

Why are all these cool playermodels invisible? I know they change look a lot but there also custom weapons that look different a lot and they arent invisible.

I just play co-op most of the time so these work for me. I looked it up and for this mod to work properly in multiplayer the server needs to be set to sv_pure 0.

sv_pure 0 servers permit mods that alter the shape of the player model. This mod adds extra pouches and equipment to the player models, so it's won't work on servers set to sv_pure 1 or higher.

it need to be fixed, some times the medium armor character is invisible, and most of the time it crashes my game when i load a online match, but i like the skin they are very well made
