@Sparrow: Either learn to do it yourself(you'd still need WotC through to reverse-engineer the mod) or live with it. Unless some kind soul takes up your wish, but I wouldn't really bet on it, for the reason mentioned in paranthesis in the previous sentence.

will im most of the way threw in the vanilla theres no way i can just change to WOTC. i have republic weapons but no civil war weapons and its killing me. there has tobe someone that can put togeather the weapons. just the E-11 be perfect.

@Sparrow: As Kexx explained wonderfully before: "I'll explain. It's not that simple. While WOTC is in fact, an expansion to the vanilla game, in terms of "under the hood", they could very well be two separate games. This presents complications to us modders. For starters each version of the game has a separate 90+GB SDK. Many, myself included, just don't have the space for both.

Furthermore, many things changed from one to the other; new coding scripts, new texture and material shaders, etc. So even if we did have both, we can't just compile the assets in each and be done with it. Much needs to change inside the mechanics of how each piece is added to the game. The assets need to be reworked, the textures as well, etc.

Hope this clarifies why many modders have left vanilla behind."

Volume is okay for me. Pretty much on par with Vanilla levels in fact.

Volume is WAAAAY too loud compared to other weapons in the game. Can you make the volumes match better?

I know there will be no Legacy version, but still hoping for it. Or rather LW2 version. WotC, for me, is so... dissapointing, and any hopes for LWotC are now low, so... yea... :(

Is there any chance you would put your Stromtroopers from the Advent to Imperial mod?
I know there are a Stormtrooper mod out there but you retextures are just so damn sexy!

Could you make it for vanilla version?

How can I add more starting slots on these weapons? Yeah, yeah I know it sounds like cheating... But then aren't most mods anyway?

I'd appreciate it if you included a custom pistol, maybe something like a DL-44 or the X-8 Night Sniper. Both are lore friendly as they were used during the Galactic Civil War by both sides of the fight.

Sorry. There will not be a legacy version. The WOTC mod tools already take up a significant chunk of my hard drive and I would have to install, tweak and troubleshoot the vanilla SDK before I could even start on a vanilla version of this mod.

Regarding the weapons volume, I posted a fix about a week ago but forgot to mention in the comments. The volume slider will now correctly affect the blasters.

And re the ini edits, you *could* adjust them to make entries for the officer uniforms to give them to females, but I doubt they would fit the female skeleton without some significant adjustments to the meshes.

Some mods allow the .ini to be modified that make male outfits usable by females, could we do the same here? I don't care if she's flat chested I just want female imperial officers.

some of the weapon sounds (like the E11 blaster) are WAY too loud, like i have to set the game volume to almost minimum to have them at a reasonable level. But that means that everything else is almost silent, is there a way to fix this either myself or though updating it?

Looks like a Star Wars playthrough is called for after my Mass Effect/UNSC/Imperium of Man (odd combination) playthrough is over.

@Insufferable Smartypants: The weapons use Star Wars sound effects. Visually they use tracer particle FX, which look similar to blaster bolts.

Do the weapons use Star Wars effects, or do they use the in-game special effects?

@psnornagest: The weapon stats for these blasters are in XComImperialBlasters.ini. Vanilla values are only used for weapon range.

If I wanted to edit the damage or anything else of these weapons would I need to edit the vanilla values? I have a clone wars era weapons mod also and wanted to bring these weapons in line with them.

is there any way to have this without the weapons? im just not a cosmetic weapon fan

@roland3710 Oh ok for some reason it looked like the EC-17 scout pistol. Would it be possible in the near future to add an Emperial Pistol of some sort?

@ War Dog The Scout/Officer pistol is really just the Chosen pistol mesh. I don't have any immediate plans to make it playable. I think there is an Advent Weapons mod that has a playable Advent pistol. Wouldn't be an exact match but close.

@roland3710 Could you add the blaster pistol that the scout uses in the Empire Conversion mod please?

Great mod, really like it. I just feel that the DLT-20 should be bigger and the T-21 should be smaller.
