There are quite a few beard cosmetics in TF2, True but most of them are underwhelming or have far too many clipping issues among other problems, This looks great and it's very distinct.

I would an alternative style for this called 'Hillbilly', where the mustache doesnt curl and connects directly to the facial hair on the sides of the lip.

@Barely Competent Hey dude, the item isn't all-class, there haven't been too many facial hair cosmetics recently, and this item does fit the characters that do have it equipped in some way. Also,

@Barely Competent: Paintability on beards and hair cosmetics allows people to have a brown-haired- blond, black-haired, or even a grey- or white-haired old geezer merc. (And I know who a guy who dyes his IRL mohawk and has several painted mohawks in-game for his Heavy and Sniper, depending on his current real-life hair colour.)

If you wanted to prevent the minority of players who cover themselves in lime-green eyesore cosmetics from doing so, you would have to demand removal of paintabiltiy from every hat and "edgy" face mask/bandanna/balaclava/hood (like the Anger, the Polar Pullover, the Bruiser's Bandanna, etc), beards and hairstyle.
Also, the biggest offenders of lime-green are "lime Scouts", and this beard isn't for Scout. ;-)

@Cos_5: The Spy's balaclava mask does not cover his mouth area. Where exactly is the problem? The game contains "hats" that look like i.e. a cleaver stuck in the character's skull, but no-one complains that the character should logically be braindead.

This cosmetic really only works on a few classes (heavy, demo, engie?) The spy wears a god damn face mask! How can he have a beard that you can see?! This cosmetic is really cool but please don't make it all class.
