I use 4k monitor i dont know if that effects the hud positioning.

Hud elements overlap with each other. Is there a way to configure hud positioning?

@Artfunkel the error just appeared again in the shine error log, so i checked your code and it's still there.

remove line 31 - 44

You might have a look at the new PlayerInfoEntity Class which was added with 263 ;)

Was looking into a bug with [Shine]Pregame Plus, found that Pregame Plus code hooked after a team join did not run because there were team join errors from Team Info HUD.

If I run a listen server with only Team Info HUD mod then join Alien, Marine, or Spectator, the server throws the following error:
Error: lua/TeamInfoHUD_Server.lua:39: attempt to call global 'BuildScoresMessage' (a nil value)

Ah ok, just found that issue in the shine error list. Shine sends all issue hooks return to a webserver to collect them. Wanted to forward that one to you :)

Got some errors from your mod in the shine error collector:

Mainly this, you might want to check if your mod is fully compatible with the new ns2 build 263 ;)

I am not sure if this is an issue but it seems to mess up the ability to hotkey a alien structure as commander. I am unable to doubletap to go to map location or use the menu. This is crucial to echoing whips. Any help?

Yes. It doesn't overwrite anything so it won't break every time the game updates. In fact so far it hasn't been affected by any updates at all.

In Yellow (the chat position) un Red Team info could you place it on the top of the commander hud structure .

I've not really had a chance to look at it yet. The problem isn't immediately apparent...it seems to be related to certain messages not being received from the server.

It would be cool if there was a way to default the view to off but let users know they can toggle it via a command like /teamhud in chat. This way players have the option of turning this on if they wish to use it but it is not forced on anyone by default. I think that would be the best way to go about offering this great learning ability to players who want it without pissing off people who do not want it in their hud.

Can't reproduce that on the client or on the server. You can inspect how much per-frame CPU the mod is using in the profiler, look for ClientGame:UpdateScript -> GUIManager:Update -> GUITeamInfoHUD:Update. On my system it's 30 nanoseconds!

Good idea (and execution, I like it).

Icons are big enough to add a mini flame if hte player has jetpack (or to show thetype fo the exo ), but it should be separately toggleable from the icons, beacouse as you mentioned before it is a bit hard to (quickly)process for slower individuals (I am not one of them).
The icons seem a bit fat, I hope they can be easily resized.
