Just wanted to say I love this mod, the backgrounds are fantastic. I especially love the overlook of the Weald.

BTW the spiderwebs are great, very vanilla style:)

Exciting! It's great that you took out all the elements that didn't fit into the original art concept (and were too "mod-like"), such as the hero corpses, ghosts and ancestor statue, because the rest is great! Extends the original, instead of adding something, which feels out of place (except maybe the weald spiderwebs, but I don't want to be too picky, and I'm yet to see it in-game).

Hello Everyone,
This last update: I decided to Remake this mod, retouching current rooms &
Some rooms were removed due:
-Looks out of place
-Very similar to vanilla dungeon, wanted avoid repetition

I did add new cove room wanted to share: Shorelines, we can finally fight on the beaches!

I may add more, but i doubt it.
I'll continue onto Darkest Dungeon 2 once ready & if its easy to mod like this game.

@gettodachopanow After testing, only way is if mod author update mod without specific image.
So yea, workaround is to replace current one with a vanilla image background ,preferably you go
editing software like gimp & flip image so atleast looks different.

Deleting specific files result in white backgrounds. Anyone knows how to selectively delete files without this issue?

Can this be customised by deleting specific images?

These backgrounds are wonderful and they really add variety to my explorations. I love the ruins background that has you looking out through stone archways onto the forest. It reminds me of dark souls.

@Mummel, I disagree! It's definitely the swamps of Diablo 3:RoS.
In fact, it fits any swampy creepy area, so it's a great addition to the DD.

I swear that third image is actually the swampy woods in Bloodborne.

@Cheddah Slammer All Backgrounds i seen so far are compatible with each other so yes this mod is 100% Compatible with it....But since this mod adds variations to room those weald rooms will sometimes have the snowy one and sometimes will have mines in it that ofcourse didn't included snow.

Does this work with the winter wonderland mod, which changes the background of wield to have snow? I don't want to mess anything up on my file.

Love the rooms
one tiny little thing i noticed with the no zoom mod there are black areas on the sides in the warrens room that looks like a foggy balcony with meathooks in the background and a brazier in the middle
this happens only in combat when the camera tilts a little bit to the active team
i am not sure if this is the case for every room though because if the rooms sides are black it's not noticeable
i continue to investigate
