I don't want to annoy anyone but I just realized that while the game goes on Nations can Turn from Minor -> Major as it depends on the Factories or sth ?
As in India. It starts as a Minor nation but turn into a major later into the game.
This is an issue because doing this Hardcap for Major = 200 divisions, Minors = 75 divisions, doesn't make sense. By the time I Minor nation 'would' be able to field more than 75 division it will turn into a major anyway.
I feel like really to solve this you should (only if you want ofc.) hardcode Specific Limits for (the most importand) specific Countries.
Like:
USSR: 270 divs
Ger: 200
USA: 200
Jap: 150
China: 200 (?)
ITA: 150
ENG: 150
India: 100
Rest of the World: 75
Something like this.
That's why after the Majors have maxed out with 200 divisions, they will slowly lose relevance as other minors start catching up with them as the game goes on.
That's why I think another cap for minors is needed. This should also further improve perfomance as there will be less divisions in the Lategame, making the game potentially playable until 1945.
Majors can pump out more trucks and tanks then minors and will remain mostly superior to the minors
But I am worried about countries like the Raj, Canada, Australia, Brazil etc. eventually catching up with majors which is ahistorical, when you have a 200 divisions Raj fighting a 200 divisons Germany haha
The thing is majors get their 200 Divisions by 1938 and then they have to stop, while minors keep producing. So in that sense with everyday that passes minors are getting stronger and majors weaker.
But wouldnt it be better if you would at least make a difference between minors and majors?
Like minors have max 75 divisions and majors max 200?
But then again, I've modded alot myself and if it would take another 9 days of work for this change, I'd say relax. It's not worth the effort haha
