@CreeperCooper- You completed the first step of using this mod. The next step is to press the play button on the main menu, then go to instant action. After that, go to the 'vehicle selection' menu by pressing the button in the bottom right corner of the same name. This should be listed under 'transport helicopter'

The Chinook may have no need to have guns true but some non pilot manned guns would be good so it wouldn't be defensless against enemy aircraft or ground forces

A chinook is a transport chopper, its not ment to be used to attack enemy forces. There is no reason for any guns to be added.
