Ok I'm fine with that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
but you're a private profiler
I don't see "Fake beta skins labeled as real"
The title could lead to think this is the beta version of their other mod "High-Res Weapon & Item Textures" but not beta L4D skins.
Again, I don't see where they labeled is as "real beta L4D beta skin" , you made this assumption all by yourself.
Read the description again...and the title.
Read again.
"An alternative to the High-Res Weapon & Item Textures, where the Uzi, M16, Mini-14 and Super M4 are utilizing extra unused effects to make them visually closer to their old, worn-out styles as seen in the preview images for L4D prior to it's release. Are these the exact versions of Ye Olde L4D? Probably not, but they are straight from the sources, making them a genuine little piece of L4D history, now yours to enjoy."
This is an alternative version of another of their mods.
This version use original beta textures, over their custom textures.
They never said it was "real beta" weapons skins, they just said they used genuine original beta textures for it to " make them visually closer to their old, worn-out styles as seen in the preview images for L4D prior to it's release" . Is it that hard to understand ?
Maybe you should ~Undisable ™~ your brain just 2 mins and read the desc again.
the "beta" crowd attacked Lt. Rocky.
not that I have anything against either of them, but...
just, never expected fellow modders to assault other fellow modders.
used to think it was just Splinks for the so called "beta survivors".
