So if you're going to run him as a riposte healer, is it better to stack his healing gourd trinkets, or stack what crit you can?

Imo he's fine. I agree that his ability to top up his comrades all the time is pretty OP, but otherwise i found him a bit passive - his stun is poor, so he heavily relies on riposte to stop actions, which result in a lot of accumulating stress. Not a fan of him because of that, good for a brainless run.

monk sprite when he gets hit is noticely bigger (+20%) than normal

This class is just too broken in my opinion. Especially as a support, that AOE heal and protect is just too good. You need to nerf him in My opinion

One question: If the monk dies, can he reappear to recruit again?

This mod is my favorite Darkest Dungeon mod! Do you have plans on ever making it compatible with Black Reliquary?

This class is very fun to use, and I can tell that effort was put into his creation.

My main problem with this class is that he just does too much. His stun move alone inflicts stun, slow, has a positive crit modifier, and buffs the Monk for damage and crits on all other moves. Most of his moves self-heal or party heal, and I don't feel as though the de-buffs are strong enough to counteract just how versatile and balance-breaking the Monk is. To go about balancing the class, Mantram, Inner Fire, and Sweeping Kick could use reworks, and a tank to Monk's crit buffs is in order.

Again, the design of the Monk himself is great. Even just his idle animations are cool and exude confidence. I only wish he were more balanced, as using him feels like I'm cheating the difficulty.

@Hellintz, i recently got permission to make an addon for the Order of Sunlight mod, and i am wondering if i may use your monk class assets in the addon, to turn the monk into an enemy that may be encountered, if this is okay, would you also be okay with me making edits to the textures (perhaps making an undead/vampire monk, along with recolored/edited monk trinkets that drop from this new enemy)
all credit for the assets would go to you

Do you remember watching Chuck Norris roundhouse kick the villain of the week at the climax of every episode of Walker: Texas Ranger? No matter how many times you saw it, it was awesome. Playing this class brings that same visceral feeling of joy to every battle in Darkest Dungeon. I never get tired of watching my stoic, wolf-pelt clad monk deliver a dragon tail kick right to the face of the enemy. Every time it happens, I am edified.

If you're the sort of person who watches a bone courtier get knocked the f&#k out by some beautifully animated kung fu and thinks "This class is overpowered, and now my game is ruined!" then I feel sincerely sorry for you. Consider seeing your doctor and having them prescribe some Fist of the North Star for you. It might help.

It doesn't matter when, with who, where, the monk is op af. He is also, fun af. Gorgeously animated class, like top tier gorgeous, the skills are very fun and he is just so satisfying to play. He is definitely without a question one of if not THE best class in the game though. He just does it all, util, dmg, tanky. Anything you need a Monk to do, he'll do it and likely excell at it as well. 5/5 *S Tier*

Great mod, can heal, riposte and work as a crit team character. had fun even if others say it was "OP". currently part of my season 2 to try new modded characters. (after already using his last time). 10/10 have fun when using.

This mod is awesome, one of my favorites! And I use a LOT of class mods, like over a hundred, it's still at the top.

after trying him out he's so badass, the design is so cool, I don't know if he's "OP" but he doesn't feel broken, probably the mass protect effect is what is possibly op...but bah I love the design so cooooooool.

This is a great and fun class but unfortunately it's just a tad overpowered compared to vanilla heroes

Easily my favorite class mod, I love his support abilities and how the attacks affect each other so its not just spam one move

Howling Fist always seems to heal for 0 when used in the front rank, is that normal? Or does it require a specific trinket/buff to be active?

@PotaDOH You hit the nail on the head. Lots of pretty good character mods and skins out there... but they are unusable because they have eyes.
