@DeStinYZoL as far as I know, an awful lot of mods simply aren't working at all with the new update, so I can't really do too much about it until Paradox fixes that

any plans to update the mod for 1.29?

@warmongerPhoenix I changed the models back to default as I kept getting the model bug glitch you described. Should be okay now, but let me now if not.

If anyone knows how to properly mod models in without these conflicts, any advice would be appreciated.

Update: (sorry for the spam) the Musket model is shown (as the default model not swedish)

Side Note on the bug: I own the majority of the Unit Models DLC's and that might be causing the conflict.

*BUG* I just unified the nordic people and became Nordia. The unit models (don't know their correct name) don't appear in the early game. All that appear for the models are their Halberd on the ground.

@St. Brendan the Navigator Just mentioning this, might be a bit late, but bt stands for Beyond Typus, another mod. If you're curious you can search it up!

Significant changes for this mod alongside the Spain update. A bug was not allowing me to update it so sorry if it wasn't working but it should be fine now.

I'm sorry I haven't a different opinion about deviantart designs. You're welcome to change my code and just change the flag if you want, won't offend me.

Actually I just found all the models and changed the tags so we should have the same models as Sweden now.

@Sharetheload I'm sorry, I've looked into it for awhile and I have no idea how to mod that kinda stuff as I'm no graphical expert. I also lack most of the model packs dlcs and things so I can't do too much with it beyond being vanilla anyway. I don't think the normal models look all that bad anyway, but if there's anyway you know how to get it to set to Sweden's models without glitching it out for people who don't have it, I can try that.

@Sharetheload I looked into it and can't seem to figure out how you go about changing which country uses which unit texture. If you can give me a pointer as to where to find that I'll see what I can do.

How do you form the nation? Can't see any decision to do so in the decisions tab.

Updated so that the Nordic Monarchy type works properly. It will now disable the nobility estates like a government with a parliament properly should.

I agree friend, but in terms of fame at least, I think Gustav Adolf wins because I must admit I didn't know who Queen Margrethe was until you told me (probably because it predates Europa lol)

That union lasted nearly 130 years, and it's the only time to date, that all of the Scandinavian countries were united. The Lion of the North didn't achieve this. I'd consider that quite a feat of both strategic thinking and diplomacy.

My new update is up, featuring better localisation and a change government decision.

I will update it again as soon as I figure out how to remove the nobles estate from the new government without breaking the game.

All due respect to Queen Margrethe, hope to meet her one day, but this is my historical fantasy around an ascendent Sweden lol

And how long did that last, Mr. Putin? Was she a military general that inspired the likes of Napoleon and was the savior of Lutheran Germany against an overreaching Habsburg empire? The Lion of the North is fairly unanimously considered the greatest monarch of at the very least Sweden and Finland. :P

The greatest Scandinavian monarch that ever was, has the name of "Queen Margrethe I of Denmark". Gustav Adolf couldn't unite the nordic countries? Who did then? Margrethe did!

I renamed the country Nordia and made the tag NDA instead of NDC. I have a new version with a unique government type completely finished, I'm just trying to figure out how to remove the nobles estate as it has a parliament.

Yeah I wouldn't name it Norden either. I just meant that it doesn't sound completely alien. I think Nordia or Nordinia sounds way better than Nordicia (unless you pronounce the c as s or some ♥♥♥♥ like that).

Or Nordium in case of Scandinavia being the true reincarnation of Rome (just joking).

@Roasted_Cat I have the Goteborg with the umlaut in the game, I just can't type it right now without copy and pasting it.

I might consider renaming it because Nordica did sound a little off to me, and maybe Nordia would be better. Norden sounds kinda odd to me but idk.

Gothenburg is called Göteborg in Swedish, not Goteborg.

Also, the name for the country doesn't sound correct (not talking about Nordica being a current company). If we look at names with the same structure such as Austria, Bohemia, Transylvania, Romania etc. then the name should surely be "Nordia" or "Nordicia" and not "Nordica".

Or you could just call it "Norden" which does sound good in english and is the actual name used to describe the Nordic countries in their native languages.

@myddis maybe, but I need to get better at understanding the coding. Feel free to offer any suggestions but my coding abilities are rather limited so I'm kind of just learning it as I tinker with it.
