I too dream of a station like S-Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse, where the U crosses underneath and S crosses above and elevated. I never got it right in my build and it has always bugged me. Curved stations pose lots of problems in C:S, and having stuff near water also creates problems, so making that station is a real challenge.

Nice to hear it @Utopia. Ever considered making some stuff? I learned everything from scratch and all of the tools are free (blender). I'd love for more people to be making Berlin assets

@AmiPolizeiFunk I am not from Berlin but on google I fund this 52°31'23.8"N 13°28'10.5"E it seems like there are WBS70s in all hights :)

if you guys have an address of a renovated WBS70 in particular (your chances improve if its in Berlin), feel free to post it here. right now I'm doing the special WHH GT 25 that is on Rochstr. near the Fernsehturm (WIP pics on my twitter)

@Phillipzu workshop is full of grey not renovated soviet blocks, Thanks to AmiPolizeiFunk for making those renovated blocks as now most of communist estates are renovated at least in places i know, from google street view i know that bad condition grey etc. can be still seen in places like Russia and Lithuania in most of Europe those blocks were renovated and sometimes colours are intensive xD and yeap we need more renovated blocks :) even pack with renovated WBS 70 in 3 heights would make it possible to build pretty much anything in game :P

Yeah, I like all the color combinations you've made, especially how you've also made ones that doesn't exist on the actual buildings.
And I was indeed referring to the tower blocks before the renovations, since I believed they would fit a little better into my city.

But after trying them out, it turns out they aren't half bad at all, I just had to find the perfect place for them. :)

you can already get grey on grey as one of the 16 possible color combos. Or did you mean how they looked before they were cleaned, paneled, and painted? Wasn't around to see them when they were first put up, but the ones that have their original surfaces look very drab.

Not only are they WHH-GT 18's, but these particular buildings were the first examples of the type! There are more nearby, some of which have quite hideous color schemes. I biked by one that was dirty pink and grey, and another that was crazy thin brown stripes. :O

The original colour scheme was superior to the... gaudy and questionable re-cladding. Still a nice building, and I'm not sure if any retain the original cladding any more. The WHH-GT 84/85 ETP blocks are even nicer but rarer still, and I don't think any of them are in their original superior exterior any more. Were these WHH-GT 18?

@AmiPolizeiFunk that would be cool. I subscribed and for sure will use them they are really cool renovated blocks is what i needed just I cant spam everywhere tall towers :P btw good job with keeping tris on resonable level even with all the details like balconies :) so happy :)

thx guys. @garfield007 yeah I agree there are so many standard blocks that are missing in any kind of decent quality (I've been scouring through them of late). I took photos for one of the big standard blocks on Karl Marx Allee but I don't know if I'll actually do anything with them

OOOO wow :) luv it!! Are you planning more blocks from that area? I know there is plenty of commie blocks on workshop but they are mostly grey - we are missing renovated blocks 5 levels 11 levels etc :(
