I never understood why people bother making content for tf2 nowadays. There is such an amazing selection and Valve will never add any of it. Seems most of the stuff that does get added are things from those who've already got things in. I feel sad for tf2 content creaters because of the futility of getting things in.

i simply used http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/ , put the link of the SFM addon into it, added an random phys mesh from TF2 smg, by simply renaming the .phy file and that was it
