are you aple to make a town type start? like you start with all the things you would need to build a small outpost not a huge amount of cash or even no cash. and all the building materials and skills needed it probs be a 40 unit start

3 friends with one of them having a brokein leg stuck in the middle of a battle between a small patrol group of UC & a large group of dust bandits.

Very simple suggestion: Could u add an adventurer start like the one where u start in hub but u start in mongrel?

When you enter the biome it marks where he is

You have to find him but you spawn in last stand which is the closet place you can spawn in without getting shredded by the spiders before the screen finishes loading so if you dont know where he is hes right in front of you in the map the big brown circle infront of your map

You start as a skeleton missing one/two limbs, no money, no clothing, no meds, in a component trader's house. Good luck.

Is the losing my limbs start even possible? My character dies before he gets 1/10 of the way to the robotics vendor.

The "LOOSING MY LIMBS" it's just impossible, the blood loss knock the character 5 seconds after spawn and stay uncounscious for 7k seconds in acid rain with only 10% acid resist...
