@The Mad Scientist - this looks like a fun and amazing piece of work. I am trying to get this to load up, and have subscribed, but it is not coming up as an option when starting a new game. I have tried the save game but this seems to have issues like all clubs starting with zero transfer funds. Is there a way to get the database as a direct download?

@The Mad Scientist absolutely love all your databases (currently 5 seasons in fm2020 with 06/07 db) i wanted a change though but for some reason this 85/86 database won't load up?? Can u give me any advice/help to get it going? Thanks and keep up the VERY good work ;)

njlw Did you make sure that no other database files where ticked ? It sound like something is conflicting

Yes, their is a Lee Dixon but he is a manager not Nigel Winterburn at all.

Garageflower Thank you very much. And that is exactly what i do, collecting atrributes for all the players that has featured at some point in a CM or FM game. But as you say in this db theres a lot of players who never where in a CM or FM game. For them i've researched as good as i can to give them certain characteristics

Loving this and the 95/96 db. How do you work out player attributes? I'd assume you take them from old versions of Championship/Football Manager, but there will be players that were never featured in any of the CM/FM series. Great job!

How are the regen? Campos, Zidane, Ronaldo and other really players of the 80' and 90' years or the fictional players of the usually football manager database?

viky985 Thanks a lot. Im sorry to say that i'm not working on this db anymore, because i'm working on a new classic db for FM19. The whole overhaul of the league setups is to big a task fr me to do in these classic db's, it is simply to time consuming, and i would rather concentrate on adding as many players as possible.

Hi, great job! But I was wondering if you are still working on it: is there any hope you manage to reset the national leagues to 1985/86 format (e.g italian serie A with only 16 teams)? Same for the national teams' competitions: could you delete the nations' league and restore past nations like ussr, yugoslavia and east germany? Thanks a lot anyway!
