It's not obsolete. Imo it's better than new vanilla animation.

That isn't really a bug, world models are lower-poly by nature in most older games like this to save on processing power, and especially in the case of the hunting rifle because Valve recycled it straight from Left 4 Dead 1. Additionally, the hunting rifle's viewmodel isn't fully modeled (the right side of the gun is missing but it's out of the player's vision), so it wouldn't be a simple task of just carrying it over, and unfortunately remodeling the scope is beyond my expertise.

there is a Model bug on the hunting rifle if you go into thirdperson or view from another character the model on the scope has 8 sides but in first person its round if you can fix this please fix it this is called the hunting rifle scope model bug
