Guys, I found a simple way to remove this bullshit with the shinny - just turn off the bloom effect and that's it
mat_bloom_disable 1
(in the regular version of the game the shinny is bearable, but on x86-64 it's just awful)

Hi! Extracting the map from BSPSource seems to break some features and textures are missing so I'm just wondering if you have the original .vmf file? I would love to make some modifications to this map and I will credit you when it is published.

There is no need to learn hammer to do that. I dont think You will be able to compile the map after decompilation anyway.

you can do mat_specular 0 in the console. adding cubemaps would require a lot of work in such a big map

As they stated, this is an addon related issue. If you have too many hook-related addons, the hooks can decrease performance on certain maps.

Its not map nor pc fault, unsub everything and check your drivers. If rendering hooks are busy, usually because of pac3-like addons - same problem may occur. Game engine is old, high end pc wont help you with fps at all.

Map sucks. I have a really high end PC, playing on the map with no addons installed. I get 3-2 frames on average. The map is really bad. I'd rate it 2/10 for effort.

@gaben titty sucker Yeah, that problem happens to me too, it seems that turning hdr off solves the issue but it didnt have the problem before as far as i know

It has many downsides, game instability is main one.
