how do you change the texure

I know how to make the eye texture spiraled, but how do I actually go about recoloring it? I've looked at the forum and the comments and nothing works.

I'm having trouble coloring the eye. I put on the (string) baseTexture and (color) color attribute but its not coloring the eye. Any advice or something I'm missing?

after you put in the texture, add the attribute "color" then type in "$color" then you can change the color of the eye of your choice
