My experience with this mod is that the damage of the katana = the damage of the daedric sword, and I do not notice any visible difference in speed when I swing it (I could be mistaken). I like there being a katana in-game that ranks up among the ultimate swords, because, hey, it's the katana. How can it not rank up there? Thumbs up

Personally i ~need~ screenshots of the weapon's stats to go in on a mod of this type. Looking for a dual-wield dark metal Katana set with complimentary enchants to rival the ones in the "Nightingale Assassin" mod which have everything i want but appearance and lowered weight. Daedric quality with 3 enchants on each would be enough to rival the swords that came in the mod I am referencing, however while the numbers on the swords are great as are the enchants, they are chunky and would be great at a dagger level of weight for greater speed. Just want a dual wield set of Katana that are dark metal with high speed light weight and equally good enchants flowing runes inlaid into the blades would be just insanely awesome. I write this as Insanity is the person I most hope makes such a dual-wield set given the quality of every mod i have seen from this author. Insanity make us "Assassins" happy with an amazing but not game-breaking dual-wield Katana Set!!!

@Jacob2815 To be perfectly fair though, none of his mods are balanced. They're just interesting, new weapons and such. If balance is your objective, mods are not your friend.

This weapon is not balanced. Especially compared to your Celtic Katana mod. This Dragon Katana has a value of 1300 but requires less materials and does less damage than the Celtic variation which has a value of 700 and requires 3 leather strips as well as the 3 steel ingots and 2 iron ingots required to make both.

could you possibly increase the grip position? there are so many cool swords out there but i just cant get past it, i always feel that the hand is too far down the grip, it needs to be closer to the hilt :( sweet sword otherwise

Actually, sorry for triple post but I just realized the beheaded body thing is due to an armor mod I have installed, my bad.

The Dragon Katana is a great mod though.

Oh, forgot, I also noticed that when dual wielding the katana's only sheath into one sheath, perhaps there should be two on each side; don't know if that is feasible or not.

I noticed while dual wielding these that the animation is sometimes messed up and will show a beheaded body while swinging the katana's (power swing on right then left).

Out of curiosity, I don't suppose you play/used to play the Legend of 5 Rings CCG?, because the color you're using just happens to be the colors for the Dragon Clan.
