it very simple mod who simply replaces textures(it does not add new races but just replaces vanilla sprites) , if you have even basic moding knowlage you could make it work with current version of game , i think.

Not likely as i dont got money to buy expansions to even test how it works with new iterations of the game , i mostly maintained this mod with creator permision so more folk can enjoy it , me , my friends and other folk

First screenshot is from mod creator , i belive he had more names(you can see some were censored) but i think some folk complained so he edited them out:o , further screenshots are mine and are mostly friends from my discord and large amount of "regular random names"

it should , you might get game say its outdated(ignore it) but it should work.

i mean game does not alter anything in your savegame so you can sub and check.(its safe to remove) it just replaces the textures of the pawns.

you can download my mod(or rather Coal mod as he made it , i just got permision from him to have it here for convinience/other people enjoyment , i also update it for it to work after game updates) and see what mod changes and reverse engineer it to make own similar mod

..and how do I do that? I literally know nothing about modding, other than pressing subscribe to have them install.

you just need to replace original sprites/models for characters

its not very hard to do , hardest part is drawing the sprite/all facings for model/sprite

your supposed to use this one for version of the game 1.0 and above , the old version(murry 1.0) is only for pre 1.0

it wont launch it says murry mod 1.0 not compatible i start loading a world but then goes back to world creation

i could update version number for game to say its up to date but i tested it with royality and exept very few minor glitches it works fine

i cant any new faces or make substancial updates as i am not creator of this mod , , he is linked in mod discription and he did it for fun long ago , i fixed some minor things rimworld broke but i cant draw more faces or work

Nah it ok, those who have modded with Royality dlc cause non Royality dlc (a) bug(s). Suggestion update that you should update that allow player to choose which will apear in the game and which not. And also add more face please :3 pub and cub face :3

But also be advised i dont own royality dlc (anyone wana gift me:D?) so i cant say how much it is compatibile or not compatibile with it it is

mod just replaces original textures , only time i really "had to update it" when developer changed how textures are named in 1.0 , i just subscribed it , louched game with prepare carefuly and checked all models

it works 100% fine but game will tell you its outdated , just ignore that

I though he was playing 1.0.. but if he's speaking of 1.1 then it probably right, the new update added some hairs I think? not sure

maybe new updates broke something , ill look into it when i got time

if its just sprite edit you should able to add/remove at will and should not break the save

I tested it myself with a lot mods(as i love mods) and only ones who update/touch sprites seam to cause issues

yeah this mod overides all models all heads all hair , it basicly "replaces" all human models when you activate it

if that any other mod mod edits/overlaps any of that it wont be compatibile

Be advised im not creator of this mod , not even friend of creator , just i VERY liked the mod and asked creator "if i can post this and maitain on steam" , as far as i know he not touched it for years

But i try to keep it compatibile with all the updates 1.0 had some big changes and had to edit.(i have some experience)
