This is seriously boss awesome and now I can actually use knights without gawking at how unrealistic they are. Kudos!

@PFogg thanks for your answer. It worked for me. I just went to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\221380\1419680038\resources\_common\slp and deleted all "KNIGHT_*.slp" files.

@LINUX hey friend, i know some prefer that appeaeancs, basically you need to search for this mod in your steam apps Workshop folder (there are some weird numbers, you will need to identify the aoe 2 stuff) and there delete the texture files for the knight.

Can you make a reskin for the Knight line to make it look like Templars with the Paladin using a regular lance but not the jousting lance

@GOD HIMSELF Open your age of empires, go to workshop thing , search the mod , click the thing that shows you the mod in the folder , go to the slp folder in the mod and delete the Knight Slps -

The first version of this mode is much more historic! Lance is certainly good, but they did not poke a hand (otherwise it will not work, because units in the AoE attack only standing)))) Lance was static on the hook riveted to the cuirass. Plus, version 1 well depicts knightly armor for the 14th century, the beginning of the 15th and the end of the 15th century.

make 60 paladins and 60 cavalry archers than split em up to 2x60 army 1 army has 30 paladins and heavy cavalry archers and the other army same amount than position them at 2 different sides of the enemy you base you wanna kill/destroy/takeover and attack from both sides at the same time your enemy will have a hard time defending both at once

In the Age of Chivalry mod, there are units called "Lancer" and "Guard Lancer". I'd like to see the Lancer replace the Knight and the Guard Lancer replace the Cavalier for vanilla AoK, with the Paladin from this mod replacing the Paladin. Hope that clears it up.

Gah, sorry, last comment: I quickly went into AoC to see if I could find suitable knights with lances to replace the AoK knight line, so I'd like to make this request as well if you find the time:

Knight -> Lancer
Cavalier -> Guard Lancer
Paladin -> Paladin from this mod

Hey, I've got a bit of a request here for the knight line:

Knight -> Cavalier from Cavalry Line Reskin I
Cavalier -> Cavalier from this mod
Paladin -> Paladin from Cavalry Line Reskin I

I ask this specficially because to me at least the Cavalier from Reskin I looks like an early chain-wearing knight, the Cavalier in this looks like a middle-level brigandine armoured knight, and the Paladin in Reskin I looks like a late, heavily armoured knight. Therefore there would be a knight suited for each of the early-high-late middle ages, and fit in with the tech progression within the game.
