I have uninstalled the wallpaper and tried again a few times but it's always a blank screen now. Any advice?
Thank you for your time, it's highly appreciated. Wallpaper engine was using my intel hd graphics instead of my gtx 1060. It's all good now, have a nice day
The first thing is wallpaper engine taking up too much memory from your GPU, your settings could change a lot in this situation (right click the WPE pictogram > Settings).
You can change the FPS, resolution etc. at that tab.
My advise to you is to not put the FPS higher than 30, this causes wallpaper engine to use a LOT more of GPU memory.
Also keep in mind that if you are using more that one monitors with multiple wallpapers the processes of all the elements in the wallpapers get stacked.
(This is also the reason I removed a lot of animated elements from the original wallapaper, it caused a lot of lag on a lot of PC's)
What might be another solution to your problem is to change the playback rate in the wallpaper properties, I use this wallpaper myself and i've set it to 35, it makes the water ripple reflection a lot more smooth and realistic.
I hope these tips help you solve this problem.
Good luck solving it!
