It's a bit funny how many people don't understand the dark concept of Combine Overwatch Soldiers being literally recycled remnants of Earth's military forces / average humans who were forced to undergo brainwashing and major surgical alterations.

This is how they differ from Metrocops (Civil Protection), who still are fully human but chose to collaborate in exchange for higher standing and perks, anyway.

Yes, they do have blood, BECAUSE THEY ARE human,
used to be, at least, having their humanity almost- if not completely -removed from them,
serving their new masters.

(I stated "almost" as they still do feel emotions to some limit, i.e; fear, combine snipers yell when you throw grenades in their nests, which is not much, but still a fragment of what's left.)

The OTA Or Overwatch Transhuman Arm are synthetically and genetically engineered killing machines used by the combine to overpower and outnumber any enemies in their path. In other words they are neither robot or cyborg they are still human but have some modifications to them such as. Vocal cords and voice box replaced with a vo-coder, their waste disposal systems are removed, their reproductive organs are removed and portions of their brain is altered. Combine soldiers are genetically engineered humans, much like stalkers. They only contain a small amount of robotic parts. They are not robots.

their a mix betwen both the normal soldier is a cyborg while the elite is leaning more twords robot but more or less they are just cyborgs
