Hey Wii2, great rendition of Demon's puzzle, even with my extreme familiarity with the puzzle it still left me stuck a minute or two because of the new layout. It's fun too see that two remakes of the same puzzle in the same style can still end up so radically different from eachother.

It's also fun to see how much you've improved since then, your recent map Effervescent Predux blows this out of the water tenfold when compared in detailing. Looking forward to your TWP Competition entry! Let's hope it doesnt erase itself halfway through development this time. :P

Wii2 sorry, but I don't know how ('cause I am dumb at everything that got something to do with computer or technology besides Portal 1&2 :-/) I could now try to describe it again, but I don't know how I could say it more precise. I just looked at the video properties and I played this on June 26th, so I'm guessing you've probably fixed the few things I did already. Added back to queue to look for other ways to break it. ;-)

I've played most of Demon's maps, but I don't remember this one. I thought I had already uploaded this one back when I played it, but... nope. Nock's upload reminded me of playing it and I saw that I hadn't, so here it is. I'm not sure what version I was playing then, as I see you've updated it since.
If memory serves me then I think I used some ideas I had while playing to go back and do some thing(s) unintended?
Anyway, nice job and thumbs up!

looks promising, feels like real deal cave johnson style, nothing looks out of place, none of the walkways are near the edge of the sphere which is something i have noticed on some maps.

Enjoyed this very much. When I read that you said this is a remake of a demon arisen map, I know why. The puzzle is great and reuses this Runway-room in various ways, and the hammerwork (which i assume it's yours) is alsoamazing. I think actually, I found an (in my opinion) very obvious intended solution. In one of the last steps, where the player is supposed to get a portal on both sides of the fizzlers, you can jump on the wall and walk on it to the other side. I think it breaks a very difficult part of the puzzle, because without that I would now still sit there and couldn't solve it. If that actually is the intended solution, then please make it look more like the player is supposed to do that (with a catwalk or platform or some kind of thing) Other than that, very nice job! Enjoyed it!
P.S.: Of course i'll replay if you fixed it.

Good map, though I think I found another exploit for getting around the two high fizzler. You can use the blue gel to jump onto the frame next to the stairway, and walk around up there, including on the part preventing you from jumping over it. .

Nicely done, Donald! I'm debating if I should remove some of those things... In terms of the button, that's probably my fault. I had no good way of showing the exit door and the button without creating unintended solutions. I had hopes that the decal next to button was enough, but yeah. I may replace it with a pictogram at some point.

I think I found a small exploit where once you fly over the second emancipation grid and place a portal on that side, you can jump into the portal and bounce off the blue gel to jump over the first emancipation grid. The jump into the portal gives you just enough height to make it.

Wii2, I went back and recorded a run through. I think I skipped even more of the map this time :/
In any case, this was fantastic! I love the Cave Johnson-era texture pack. I've subscribed to the original map that you hammer-ized, so I have that to look forward to.

Loved that one!! Definitely took me a number of trips back and forth just to figure out how things were supposed to work. Really nice job! I never used the long, horizontal portal surface behind the tall wall in the area with the button-activated exit door. Is that part of intended solution?

I had a serious bug when attempting to solve this level. The preplaced blue gel next to the first fizzler (by the raised angled panel) did not spawn. I spent like 90 minutes running around trying to find another way to get a portal on that panel and by an orange gel run.

I only know the gel is supposed to be there at all because I tried the map again today and saw the gel, and I know for sure it was not there yesterday. Indeed, a screenshot I took at the time confirms it:
