- Armored up some more of the front end (easy to use armor plates from the Titan for the blueprint)
- Covered up the warp engine from the outside (looks pretty, but is too vulnerable)
- Offset some of that by removing 2 of the 4 fabricators and the passenger seats (solo play)
- Spent some time organizing all the devices into groups
Other thing I noticed is the default 3rd person flight view is problematic because the ship is so big and the crosshairs were down the midline of the ship. I used ALT free view + mouse wheel to pull back a ways (hit ALT again to save the view distance), and then the PgUp/PgDown keys to adjust the firing cursor to a better position, depending on my situation.
But seriously, this is one gorgeous work of art. Kudos.
The only thing that is a bit dangerous is the open warp drive on the back side. If you fly away from an enemy base they can easly shoot it.
@KnikreDK: No, it just turned out to become a twin tail, as I started with the bow at the rear of the vessel. But yes, I´ve rcognized by myself, that this ship looks a liitle like the P38, which I consider as one of the best looking planes in history. :)
@MytnN7: I wanted to build a single player vessel, but due to the lack of experience on that level it became too big and turned out to become a multiplayer ship. ;). But I´ll try to build a class 1 SV for sinlge player use.
Added to my (public) High-Gravity-Vehicles collection.
Could you make a varient that takes the multi player out and makes use of the space provided for a better single player setup?
@Bedevere: haha, yeah, but there wasn´t any room left to rebuild another piano. I was lucky, that there was still some space left for installing a toilet though. :D
