Oh I did a silly. The whole time this mod was not in user_script so it wasnt working. I fixed it I think. *facepalm*

what about the other fix by Doge, it might be just for normal. I remember doing it years ago for Darth iirc I changed a few things in the projectiles file

Actually, Darthmod comes, itself, with a file called "sounds_fixed", but whether or not I remove that, there is no change, the bows still sound like cannons. I've also tried Sinfonia Semplice but that doesn't work either. Just gonna go ahead and assume there's nothing more I can do to fix Darthmod

I'm trying to use this with Darthmod but using pack file editor I can't find anything in the DMS .pack files correlated with "sounds_packed". Despite this, it still doesn't work.

eh Im not saying it isn't good it but it worked before iv used this mod for awhile. The devs don't do crap that's why we look towards the mod community to fix their issues.

Wow Galore, wtf --This is a community fix by players. Don't you think you should be complaining to the GAME developers. This fix was posted almost 7 years ago and still no official fix.

works for archers sounding like muskets, but then several sengoku units make a bugle sound when receiving orders, like modern units in ROTS.

Oh and did you try this - "izzi Guys: Anyone that is using a mod (like darthmod or radious) that have already a "sounds_packed" in their mod pack files, will NOT work! You need to delete that folder ( "sounds_packed") inside the mod pack file from the mod and than you subscribe to this mod."

Worked for me, back to regular arrow sounds. Not noticed any other sounds messed up yet.

Not sure what's wrong.
With this mod everything works perfect. All the sounds are correct, however, some sounds are muted. Like if there's a line infantry shooting, the sound only comes from half of the guns. Without this mod all guns sounds, but they sound like cannons lol.

I have similar problems with trumpet but in ROTS, some units just make FOTS trumpet sound when given order, it's insane how many bugs CA left in this game

hmm, the vocal in the audio is correct, but comparing to bow hero cavalry, the sound effect should be Sengoku's drum and conch rather than the trumpet we're talking about. Sadly, the audio category for katana hero cavalry seems not wrong at first glance

I found which unit makes trumpet sound now, it's katana cavalry hero, other cavalry or hero units don't have the bug but it has. see if I can found something wrong in data

You can use the other sound fix by Doge (linked above) and you can always follow his instructions to change individual units sounds in other mods, that might work for trumpet sounds.

Apparently the trumpet sound is a known game bug. I also find it a pain to listen too.

does the bug of trumpet sound from fots also count in sound pack? never really encounter bow sound issue but the trumpet one seems always there for me

Yeah... but i won´t mess with P.F.M. MoS mod offers bow ronin and light samurai bow whose bow fire sound is normal. I´ll keep bow kachi to use as melee infantry.
Anyway FoTS is not to be played too much with traditional units especially using the MoS mod.

It is not working for me either, i am using Master of Strategy mod for FoTS.
Bow kachi fires with a gunshot sound.
Nor the original sound fix of the TW center works...

Hey. For whatever reason this doesn't seem to be working with bow monks. I tried re-installing, restarting, different files, mods off, etc. but still persists. Only major mods I have are the diplo expansion and all factions. As for units, just some skins. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Should I try this if I installed Shogun 2 Enhanced, and ONLY Bune ships sound like cannons? Land units sound just fine.

You could always ask Enrike the mod developer of Remastered if he can find out what his mod added that may cause a conflict.
