Unfortunately I've looked into it and it's more or less physically impossible to mod in without removing one of either plumage, face-fluff, or beak options, since SB vanilla char creation is dumb

How do I change the feather AND fluff colors of my character? Is there a separate menu mod needed to make this work?

I unpacked some mod files, and it seems like Detailed Species might be the issue based on its .patch file for Avians. Valve plz fix.

I've got the same problem as Starf00lian, but the only thing I can think of that might be causing a conflict is AnTiHair. Which would be weird, because there's no reason for them to overwrite how the Avian fluff coloring works.

So i figured out what the problem was. I have Vanilla Gold installed and since VG alters the avian it wouldn't show any colors except for default. I also had colorbound installed and the different colors worked for other races except avian. Kinda strange.

I tried to unsub and resub and the problem still persists. i'll check through my log again and see if i might have missed something. Its probably just a confliction with one of the many mods i have installed. Thanks for the help though, and I'll let you know which mod it is that caused the problems (assuming that was the case)

it should be compatible. i don't know what could be causing the mod to not appear. i personally even use the version of AMP which collects all their hairstyles, which includes the avian mod as a part of it, though i do not use avian emotes i'm sure they should be compatible. it could be an issue on steam's end- try unsubscribing and re-subscribing

i can't seem to get this mod to work for me. not sure if I'm just doing something wrong or what, because i went and checked in starbound's log and didn't see any errors. is it by chance not compatible with AMP Avian Hair Pack or Avian Emotes? Those are the only two mods I saw that could probably affect the avians
