whey Project Zenith mod is off

Someone that's really good with textures REALLY needs to make this again with a few differences.

You can still get Project Zenith from other sites, its still up. This mod isnt entirely dead, as its practically a private mod for those who were smart enough to take Project Zenith from other sites. This is an american only camo and so I think american flags woudnt be too hard to add as retexturing make the flag not look like a patch.

you can add them yourself, texturing is super basic!

It indeed sucks, hopefully this mod will make a comeback. At least RoadRunner kept his stuff open. I like RoadRunner's uniforms but the shirt and pants need a texture update.

Yea I didn't realise till after posting this that Porject Zenith is todo with the whole VSM crisis, shame the community and forums are still toxic to this day!

So because some people were/are "witch hunting" is one the reasons why some modders are keeping their stuff private and it's also the reason why we can't have nice things? That's retarded...

Not to mention double standards if you considered games with a modding support having stuff that was ported over from other games for the sake of adding content. People thinking that they are the "forum police" is one of the reasons why nobody likes the bi forums.

Battlefield and Siege were the two that were pointed out. I'd assume its probably more than just that but who knows.

That I didn't know......damn. Was it just models from Battlefield (which is some of the models I heard some of them are from) or were there other games????

I know there's a helmet mod that looks EXACTLY like the Ops Core Maritime Helmet from Medal of Honor Warfighter (which is the way I'd setup my helmet with more added usefull and gucci stuff) and the Mich 2000 helmet and it's still up after all this time.

To even side track into other games with mod support, there's a mod for Insurgency that takes the ENTIRE models (Assaulter/Voodoo's loudout, sniper kit machine gunner kit, and some faces) from Medal of Honor Warfighter and the author of that mod hasn't gotten in trouble for it.

G3s, JPCs, lots of pouches, shemag or however you spell it, backpacks etc.... He was warned long before it was brought up publicly and he didn't care and explicitly stated that some people might get mad about it.

There is a lot more content than the G3s that are stolen. Some people have been looking through it and found a lot of other stuff that was also stolen.

The only workaround I could think of that could work is retexturing Roadrunner's Crye G2 and G3 uniforms. His uniforms are the ones that have both Merrell and Salomon boots which is a pretty cool minor detail

Hey i been trying to do a retexture too but of the vest but the mags are white for some reason :/

the problem is that, even if the model was stolen. it was stolen without him knowing but people exclusively accused him. instead of just saying it and waiting for a response, people started witchhunting him. so yeah tbh both sides could have handled it better
