Thanks for the help, I will do that. Altis looks really like a completely new map, and the half sunken villages are great for my post-apocalyptic roleplay group. =)

That's normal, the mod is compatible with [CUP] Tchernarus and [CUP] Bystrica. If you want to remove the message, go to your workshop mods directory, @Overwatered>Addons and delete the PBOs with non vanilla names

Okay it seems a different mod caused this FPS drop.

However, every time I start the game with the mod it gives me the following error:

" Addon 'Bystrica_Water' requires addon 'CAData' "

Can you please fix this?

Is it normal that this mod costs about 20 fps when enabled? With this mod, even without adding anything else to a map, I get 20 fps less than I would normally do.

Yeah, water level increase/decrease depending on time of the day, for example at 10am, sea level will be 10 meters higher than at 4 pm

Depend on if you server is running the mod also or not. AI are still pretty dumb even with the normal sea level, but they should keep the same behaviour

Of course not ! As i said "You are free to do what do you want with this mod", i even invite you to do so because i wont really support this mod from now, maybe update it for Livonia soon but that's all.

I am not sure for MinTide, but you can try to change the time of the mission and to set the time acceleration to 0

MinTide parameter doesn't seem to do anything. The water still goes down to base level for me.
I guess there is no way to set permanent level for water at any time without having terrain source files.

It's in the vanilla version, but the CUP - Maps version adds a very small lake at the top right corner of the map.

I really love the kind of bug reporter that you are, everything is given and nicely explained. If i remember right, it doesnt edit the water colour, but i’ll check it tomorrow, it seems strange as your screenshot and you said.that only the surface is changed...i’ll download your mod and try to see what can be in conflict with my mod.

Hi, I was trying to make a mission combining your mod and the "Brown Water Color Mod", but when I add the overwatered the color of the water turns from brown to green. So I would like to know if your addon changes any color parameter, and if so. Where could I see it?

Sorry, I haven't commented in a while because I have been busy, and I hate bothering. But I have tried to the best of my ability to understand what you have said to do, but I don't. Is there a way to contact you when you are online (I understand you may live in the EU) and we get on discord, and you explain step by step. I have even tried other things that a noob like me to think of. Also there isn't any videos really explaining it making this mod not very user friendly; to someone trying to learn how to do this kind of stuff. Cheers, if need be I can add you and we can set up a date. Sorry again if I have been an annoyance. :) -Note I have gotten it to work, but this one mod is essentially preventing your mod to work, idk if there is a way to get around it.

Copy and past any config.cpp from Overwatered in a new folder that you will name according to the map you want to edit, open config.cpp.

Under class CfgPatches you will have class MAPS_Water (ex: Stratis_Water), replace "MAPS" by the name of your map, then go down to class CfgWorlds and search for class MAPS (ex class Stratis) and replace by the classname of the maps (that you can find in the editor (ex: myMission.Stratis)

Thank you so much, I have another question. How would I be able to use this with mods, I have tried but the map doesn't register as Altis, it is a puzzle piece, would I have to find the addon name of that config and paste it within Overwatered's config so it correlates with that map?

Ok, so with PBO Manager, open and extract the content of overwatered’s pbo (i don’t remember what name i gave it)in a new folder named like the pbo, then edit config.cpp with any text editor. Change the min and max value, save your changes, right click on your folder,PBOManager - Pack in xxx.pbo then move the pbo file just generated in the mod folder and erase the old pbo file

consider changing buildings so that they appear more ruined (this would take time of course) but as a whole would make your work far more beautiful
