Take Python, the programming language. I simply searched "Python Tutorial", followed along for a while, then tried making my own things. Nowadays it's my main programming language, and I've made a fair few large scale projects.
It's not easy to do, but one day I just got fed up of doing nothing, wanted to be able to impress people.
Anyway, the comments stuff, it was just some fun. It's rare I meet someone who makes such a comment completely out of the blue. I found it quite humorous, and it's certainly brightened my day.
Hopefully I've not put a dampener on your day. Have a good one~
I tested it at 0100 when the night usually would be in full affect in vanilla and the light sources and torches do work but they are so dim and ineffective to the point that they onyl really illuminate themselves and barely any area around them. Towns at night that are normally well lit(as they should be) now are almost plunged in darkness as if they had no lights. Since guards dont normally carry lanterns when patrolling, they are just walking around through pitch black darkness which is an immersion issue.
