Four new games, 100% have a trait from here. In the four games mixed, out of 50 Hearthlings, ~30 have two traits from here at the same time. One of my game has half of its population Wizened, another has 4 Divine Souls.

Divine Souls and Clerics with Martially trained are still priorizing Attack and Patrolling over Healing.

You've showed me your propotions, but there must be a problem somewhere. Because it's just not the proportions I have in a practical sense/understanding.
I'm going to have to stop playing with this mod for now.

The proportion of a new Haerthling having one of this traits is now way to high. I don't know where the diference came from

Divine Soul is "now" priorizing attacking over healing and his heals are very very low when they are done.

@AuroraWolf, yes some ACE modified or added equipments aren't equipped or equipped on second hand but not "used" (no diference)

I think I'm running into a bug wherein the martial trained hearthling cannot equip a legendary weapon

I bummed myself on Martial Trained, I made my best hearthlings with this trait, and now I have a knight wielding bows n shit

also sometimes unables the hearthling to work when promoting to miner from miner mod
the weapon replaces pickaxe in its inventory

martial trained trained is stupid in my opinion
the hearthling steals best weapons it can get from the soldiers they were crafted for
also prevents the hearthling from picking up better tools sometimes, eg. as a farmer it doesn't pick up the iron hoe

Some traits are bugging the job trees, in the mod repairer https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1846248864 it is fixed

Ace overrides many built in functions using "destructive monkey patching", while this more used something called "alias method chain monkey patching" which ensures comparability

In practical terms that means that this mod will work with any other mod as long as it loads after them, to while ace breaks some mods that load before it.

I do not know what determines load order, so I do not know what to do to ensure this mod loads after ace

Disregard my last comment. I'm not sure why in my last save map, my Martial Trained units wouldn't pick up the better weapons. They do so now.

Martial Trained no longer works. Perhaps it has become incompatible with ACE.

I like the barbarian having a feat that allows them to duel wield two handed weapons, kinda like Fury Warroir's in WoW

A idea for the barbarian, what if they could use two of the same weapon. For example, they can use two wood swords or two axes.

Great idea for a trait, Stoneling:
This hearthling is one with the earth, and as such, has higher health, but theyre somewhat slower/do less damage

Adding any modded trait doesn't work with the command console with deb bug tools on. Any advice or is this a bug?

I think a good trait would be Spiritually/mentally/physically inclined. They get plus two to what they're inclined to and minus one in other categories.

For future reference, the mod "name" for the console command for adding/removing traits is: kmnky_traits

Also, you can easily find ALL the mod names in your steamapps/common/stonehearth/saved_games folder. You'll have to find which save file you're using (or alternatively just use the autosave game file since that is specifically named) and just open up the "server_metadata" with notepad and you're golden.

Also, with ACE being released, some of Martial Trained bugs (such as a footman picking up a bow) may have been fixed.

Having a Heartling with Divine Soul + Martial Trained traits seem bug. Mine picked up the worse spear in my armory, didn't heal worth a damn, and worse, refused to get close to the injured. She'd stand around looking at the injured footman and would not heal. Avoid those two traits.

I really like this Mod as a whole but I have to admit I hate the Barbarians. 50% more damage doesn't matter to a corpse. Unless the Barbarian also get Martial Trained (which happened to me once and that barb I loved) then I slap the wooden sword out of their hand and let them stay a worker or make them a crafter. Only Archery is a decent choice for a barbarian combat class. I use another mod called High Class, and I had a great Barbarian Sniper... but thankfully barbarian comes up so rarely as a trait, I don't have to worry about it much.

could there possibly be a discussion on buffing the barbarian trait? I felt like having a barbarian was at a great hinderance (since they cant use armor OR shields). Some Ideas I had were givesome crafters either specific equipables that increase their dodge chance? But idk if thats even possible to integrate into Stonhearth.

Another Idea was toi just simply give them crit chance,, or a buff to their base damage. That way, although they are more vulnerable, they are more like a glass cannon unit.

Oh, another silly thing I noticed... when I promoted Level 6 Footman to a warrior he dropped his weapons and armor back down to Level 1 equipment. He took off Iron Mail and a Bronze helmet for a thick padded vest and a padded hat healso downgraded his weapon to the iron mace, though I don't recall what weapon he had been using previously.

Found some lbugs with the mod. The Barbarian keeps kying mysteriously. A Level 6 Footman + Level 6 Warrior Barbarian / Martial Trained with a Gravis sword just dies off while walking around with a Level 6 High Cleric. No combat music, Normal Difficulty just dies off. Reload game from earlier save. going fine, a few days later, dies off mysteriously without explanation.

Also, the Gravis Sword keeps reverting to a 'two handed sword' after a save and reload. Doesn't matter if it is equipped or in the stockpile.

What is the 'naming practice' for the traints in the code? I want to be able to add or remove the traits for roleplaying reasons.. my town is based on an old rpg I played years ago, but I tried to add_trait barbarian but it threw an error, same with martial_trained. So, what are the names for these traits?

Maybe as a add on one trait is they can play a guitar or something instead like a bard but still classed as a cleric

@mimzie you also could use the promote_to command. But you'll have to find out what the name of the class is. For example northern_alliance:jobs:name_of_the_job

@mimzie: If you demoted them, then will need to meet the normal requirments to be promoted again. for NA that means being a certain level archer

I played The Northern Alliance and used this mod, but rrean into a problem with a hearthling that had the barbarian trait, For some reason they couldnt upgrade to the basic fighter profession. It's been a while since I had that file ( about a week or so) is it still an issue? would really like to p0laay northern alliance but am afriad other mods I have wont mix well with that faction

The martial training trait is causing some serious problems in my playthrough. In short, my knight refuses to use any weapon other than a recurve bow. I can't get them to actually use any knight weapons. Do you have any suggestions?

I love this mod, but, its not compatible with the Locks Of Many Hair mod or the Northern Alliance mod. : ( Which makes me immediately sad, I wanted some barbarian vikings.

What if there was a way to make a Bard/Entertainer? They wouldnt necessarily do combat and would stick around the town rather than collect resources but would uplift hearthling mood greatly when they talked to them.... or... while performing.. would have an area effect similar to the cleric's heal but all it did was raise mood slightly.

Barbarian archers do not equip special arrows. I am not sure whether that is intended or not.

Just to mention the mod is incompat with Locks of Many Hair, something to due with the goblin trait disalowing modification of certain features such as hair, skin, etc.

It seems pacifist is broken for multiplayer. Every time my friend and I play and get one, they randomly become either a level 1 cleric or level 1 footman. They're also completely happy about this!

When I think of "divine" I think one of two features: boost in heals or boost in attack. You might as well just name the trait "Novice Cleric."
